My husband has had 3 surgeries in the last 8 months. The most recent in August on his lumbar spine. He has been in so much pain. He would sit, then stand, then sit in his recliner. He was always in pain. I bought this with hopes of some relief and comfort. He is a side sleeper so he didn't keep it on the bed at night for long, he said he would try it again. BUT... I put it on the couch for him today. He has not gotten up except to use the restroom most all day. He says it is the first time he has been able to relax without pain. Again, I don't normally have time to write reviews but felt compelled to with this product.

I got this for after abdominal surgery and it helped soooooo much too keep me comfortable and we'll supported. But it's not just good for recovery, I will be using it forever. It's soft and perfectly firm and can be configured in many ways beyond what's in the images. The quality is very good. I predict it'll last a long time. I'm loving this thing.

I've only had the pillow for a night, but it's already made a difference. Opened up the pillows and let them outgas during the day as I've read in other reviews and the company also includes instructions for this as well. The outgas wasn't bad and was gone by nighttime. I'm still getting the angle of the pillows right for me, but I woke up today without congestion or clogged ears for the first time in a long time. I'd call that a win. They pillows are very comfortable and you are able to change the angle of the main pillow to fit your needs.

Great support, comfortable, and versatile!

This is definitely one of the priciest options available, but given that you can angle it to your liking, the excellent head support pillow and the included leg rest, this set has worked the best for my back/shoulder pain. I can finally recline on the bed while reading for a long time without constant discomfort. Highly recommend!

I was diagnosed with cancer on my spine. This pillow set relieves some of that pain and sets me up so I can still watch TV or hold conversations.

Life saver after surgery! Comfortable and versatile.

These are more comfortable than I was expecting. My husband just had shoulder/bicep surgery and I bought this for him to help him recover more comfortably. I was really surprised at how luxurious this feels. Of course, he isn't feeling so much comfort right now (post-op) but I'm sure it is making him feel better (even if he isn't quite aware of it, yet). It works MUCH better than pillows do - these stay in place (with the rubber nubs) and they don't squish down and lose shape (with the memory type foam). I would highly recommend these for post-operative surgery recovery - or, even for someone who is stuck in bed for long periods of time. I wish I would've had this when I had a broken foot last year!
