A bit uncomfortable to wear

They are a bit uncomfortable to wear on my ears. They constantly fall out of my ears.

Needed smaller rubber inserts

The sound quality is great but they fall out of my ears or plug the ear canal to the point that my head feels stuffy. I have small ears and all of the insert options are too big.

Great alternative Earbuds for gamers

I don't think every product needs a gaming line, but I do appreciate the design, unique style and features present in this set and hope to see it continued across JLABS line.Putting the earbuds in you're greeted with this nice AI voice telling you hello and letting you know what's up with your battery, connection, etc. I really like this, it's always pleasing. The earbuds have touch controls built in that make sense.Tap left earbud to turn the volume down, Tap the right one to turn it upDouble tap the left earbud for siri/ok google, Double tap the right to play or pauseThe thing that makes these headsets special are the extra modes and features.Triple tap the left earbud and you can switch through 3 EQ settings, signature, bass boosted, and balanced.Triple tap the right earbud to turn on or off "Be Aware" (lets outside noise in to be mindful of surroundings)Press and hold the left ear bud for 1+ seconds to switch between music and the low latency gaming modeIf they go to sleep just press and hold them for 3+ seconds until they say "hello" and Power OnLow Latency (press and hold left earbud for a second) Gaming Mode / MusicThe premise is that if you turn on low latency gaming mode if you're experiencing lag from the audio and your movement on screen when gaming. It's not a huge difference, very subtle but can make a difference.Be Aware is a nice feature you can turn on or off to be more mindful of your surroundings, so if you're out and about with these earbuds you have a lot of flexibility without having to go into your phone and change a bunch of settings.I enjoy the simple tap feature on the earbuds to turn the volume or up down, you can't really quickly restart a song or go back, but you can go forward by pressing and holding the right earbud for about a second. All in all this is a solid set of earbuds, especially within this price range. You get quality audio that works for gaming, listening to spoken word, playing music, whatever. The thing that makes this different is the quality of the parts. Some may not enjoy this case but for me this was the main reason I wanted to try them out. I love the retro gaming design, the case is high quality and has the charge cable for the unit built right in so as long as you got the case you're good. Recommended to plug into a 5v connector, simple usb port in your computer gets the job done. I plug it into the USB-A port on my multi charge station on my desk and it works great. or the USB A slot on my portable battery. You can see at a glance the level of your case by lifting the lid and looking at the lights to know if you need to plug it in or not.You can use the ear buds together or just one at a time (my preferred for spoken word), they are very comfortable and fit into my ear perfectly. I'm not worried about them falling out, I've fallen asleep with them in.The case is solid enough to charge your earbuds up about 3-4 times, and for me the battery varies based on if I'm gaming (lower volume, spoken word (usually 1 ear bud and lower volume) or music (little over 4 hours battery life). If I was going to be busy and needed to use these pretty much all day this would definitely get me through that day. My typical gaming use is connecting my phone to a portable display or projector and using my controller to play steamlink / xbox game pass / or retro games emulated on my screen (like snes, dreamcast, gamecube) and this device functions perfectly for that. These are really a nice quality setup, and for the price it's pretty much on point. You can get similar audio around this price range but for this you're getting JLABS total offering (3 presets (balanced is no filtering so you can easily sculpt it with software), be aware mode (to let in ambient noise) and the low latency features you can quickly turn on when needed. With that in mind the audio presentation is pretty average, I'm not blown away from the sound, these are very comfortable for what they are. The extended ear pieces help get your voice through the headset for clear talk. The thing that really sets these off over the other options in this price range from JLABS is the design of the case (I absolutely love it), and the low latency mode. If you do not need those features and don't care for the design you could look at the other jlab audio jbuds air play wireless earbuds and save a few bucks or get something more fitted towards your needs.Cons:I have the higher end version of jLabs epic air sport with ANC (which are my favorite bluetooth earbuds) so I know it's not an issue with JLAB but specifically with the way they implemented bluetooth with these earbuds. This is a rare use case, but I have a bluetooth audio transmitter where I can take audio from a lineout and make it bluetooth, I have the same thing with my Nintendo Switch which I adore using and was really hoping to take advantage of that with these earbuds, however because the way the pairing works with these earbuds it's not possible to do so. Not sure why they did it this way vs the normal way but it's pretty disappointing, I guess they really meant for you to NOT use these with any sort of consoles, even with adapters.Bottom Line:These are high quality earbuds, if you're ok with the price you're getting likely the best overall set of wireless earbuds under 90 dollars. I have the apple airpods (got them when they came out) and usually compare various earbuds with those. These are the closest that I've gotten to that. The audio isn't quite as good but I feel it can be when I get more time to dig in and tune them properly via various eq apps and settings.I love the buds, my main use is when connected to my Samsung Galaxy Note and then using DEX to throw whatever I want to play on a different screen. I can still use these to play games from my steam library thanks to steam link on my note when playing on a projector or portable display. You can really only use these effectively with your cell phone, tablet, or computer with bluetooth, they are a solid earbud. Overall I really do like the design and setup, the inability to pair it with some of my items has me lower it a star as other headphones have no such issue. My airpods last me about an hour per pod, so enjoying music I may get 45 minutes into a serious listening session before they both need recharged. These provide me a solid 4-5 hours of use when playing at a high volume. I appreciate the responsive touch design, some of the setup on the less expensive models are very tricky and are constantly triggered. I don't think these could fall out of my ears, I like the fit and look better than my airpods. I appreciate not having to carry a proprietary cable, but I do wish there was a way to replace the cable attached to the case should it go bad there's not really another way to charge the earbuds. (a cheap cloth carrying case would have been appreciated)Recommended; if these would be useful for your usage, otherwise another version of this line from JLABS may be a better fit for you. I can use these features and they have been helpful as such I'm glad I have them and will look for the gaming line in JLAB for other offerings they make.

Great quality for the price

If you're looking for a more budget friendly option to air pods this is it. I have tried other headphones like this that were cheaper and they always broke immediately and would not hold a charge. These are great quality and I have had no issues with them. The set up for pairing is simple and the sound quality is pretty good for the price.

they're good for what I need

These earbuds work well and I can wear one solo when I need to keep the other peeled for other things. Setup is easy peasy. My only knock, if you will, is they aren't very loud. But all in all, they're good for what I need.

Good For the Price

I Don't have any experience with the Original Maker of this style Earbuds (Apple) so I cant Compare much to them except price. These at one Point I've seen them for around $30-$40 when on sale which is way lower in price the then the Airpods Pro ($235-$250) Battery Life is Better then apples by about 30 to 45 more Minutes from what I'm Getting out of these and what Apple Claims on their website. Apples Maybe smaller and case could be smaller as well. Which is Nice. But These are still pretty compact. I do have to say I want to try Airpods pro now. But price wise.....Its Holding me back since these are good for what I Use them for. They Sound Good but not the best Ive heard compared to my Over the ear Wireless Headphones. I Like the Size of the Buds and the case. Pretty easy to carry in your pocket. The Earbuds have a decent around of features with tapping gestures for both earbuds. Besides the normal stuff they have a EQ Setting with 3 modes to test out by triple tapping the left and by Triple taping the Right you can turn on and off the Be Aware Mode which turns on the microphone so you can hear things around you like someone talking or a car while listing to music. Oddly that gesture isn't shown on the box but is in the Guide that is included in the box.Battery Life is around 5 Hours. I'm Guesstimating this time to a hour and a Half walk while listing with these on. My Iphone Was showing a little more then a ¼ of the battery was Drained. I'm Not sure how Long the Case will last perhaps the time is around true to what They Claim maybe less but over all its Good Battery life. The Case looks cool and your Earbuds always stay Fully Charged since you store the Buds in the case as it charges. You don't need to turn The earbuds on or off just put them back in the case and or pull them out and they will turn on.Size of the case -2 - 5/16th inches Long2 - 5/16th inches Wide1 - 3/8th inches ThickThe Pros for me –+ Small and Compact.+ Sound good for the Price+ The Price+ Features.+ Battery Life seems good for the Size of the Earbuds.+ Good Bass when you get a good fitment in your ear.The Cons for me –+ Fitment is hard to get fully correct.+ I do get a decent Seal in my ear but could be better.+ Comfort Could be better. Long Periods can start to hurt the ears.+ No Water resistanceThe Middle –+ Ive Seen reviews of how loud the Earbuds get and they say it doesn't get Loud enough. For me I Listen to these at ¾ up or one notch more. Full Volume is too much for me.Could be a Fitment issue for those not getting enough sound. I get good sound and Good low end. Might not be the best low end in its class but I have no way of knowing. I'm Comparing to my V-Moda Crossfade 2 Wireless over the ear headphones. Of course the over the ear Phones are way better in low end and over all sound Quality.+ May Fall out of ears. Now They haven't done that me, It Just feels like its Possible. They Stay in When shaking my Head+ No Noise Canceling. They Block out sound good enough but these earbuds don't have Noise Canceling. I Still hear cars driving by. People talking is very faint and perhaps it can completely drown them out if volume is all the way up.Overall I like these Earbuds. Perfect for what I Use them For. Walks, around the office, or just out and about. I wouldn't workout with these as they are not Water resistance. I Love my Big over the Ear headphones for the Gym for the nice Low-end. Yes I'm one of those guys in the Gym with big Headphones. Keeps me in my one lane when working out and drown everyone else out and don't have to worry about inner ear sweat messing up the fitment of Earbuds. I Don't think I Would Jog or Bike ride with these. I Would be afraid they would fall out. Even though they stay in when I Shake my Head. I would look into the JLab Audio - Epic Air Sport as they wrap around your ear. Down Side is they are bigger due to ear piece but also have water resistance. I Would like to try them to see.I don't Game so I cant Tell you how the Game mode sounds and Supposedly it will have a more 3D Sound when in Game mode. Also I Didn't use these during phone calls.I Would give them A Check if your looking at these Earbuds. depending your use. I Give them a 4 to a 4.5 out of 5. Better comfort and fitment would make these great. Now we see what the longevity will be. I Will check back and revise review if anything changes.

Not high end sound, but a good value.

My husband's Apple earbuds broke, so I got these for him to use until Christmas (he doesn't know I bought him Apple Airpods). :) At first, he was pretty disappointed in the sound quality, saying they sounded flat with a lot of mid-range. But when I helped him discover the different eq settings, he found a Bass Boost, which he said, made a big difference in the sound. He mentioned the battery life being pretty great and also said that they are decent for the listed price. Overall, I’d say these are a good value, but don’t quite meet the expectation if you are looking for high end quality sound. Once he gets his Christmas present, I will pass these on to my game playing sons who will likely appreciate them more.

Good earbuds

The media could not be loaded.  Small but nice earbuds. JLab makes good products and they will respond if you have a problem. My first concern is that the faux leather on the cover of the case is already showing some wrinkles after opening and closing for 2 days. How long will last? I don’t know but my confidence is low. Includes a good number of tips and fins so I’m pretty sure you will find one that fits to your ears. Great battery life and sound quality is good enough for me, that I am not too picky or with a trained ear. I do not do gaming; I use these for phone calls and listening music.Removed one star as I think price could be better.
