Very easy to do curls. The steam hair tool heats up pretty quickly and feels good in the hand. Not too heavy and not too light.

A bit intimidating at first but once I got the hang of it, it was so easy to use. The steam feature is really cool, my hair looks shiny after. I was able to style my thick and wavy hair under 10 mins so I'm pretty satisfied. I can't wait to use it again and create different styles. I just wish for the price point that they should've included a bag for this. I got this complimentary from Hot Tools.

I do really like this flat iron, I’m gonna be honest and say that I like my GHD one more about the price is definitely better on this and it works just as well. The only thing is I really can’t tell what the function is of the Steam gifted by hot tools

I love the idea of steam styler that Hot Tools came up with. Pros: It can be used with or without steam, has a wide plates which makes drying and straightening of a little damp hair very quick. Cons: the plates are not closed enough to hold the hair. I had to put a thick amount to to straighten my hair. Also, I wish the steam comes out evenly throughout the whole strip of the hair, instead, it comes in bursts, very quick and unevenly. Gifted by Hot Tools

Gifted by Hot Tools. I really like this iron because it’s not as damaging on my already dry hair. My 3A hair gets very frizzy and breaks off easily, so I try to be cautious when using my hot tools that I’m creating the least amount of damage possible! I love that the iron can be used with or without steam. It is super easy to use. My only complaint is the you have to do bigger sections and the steam doesn’t evenly apply as pumped out, it shoots out fast rather than slow so it hits the entire length of the section you are straightening. Because of this, it takes an extra run through to make sure pieces are straight! This isn’t too inconvenient and personally is worth my hair not taking the damage from a regular iron. I think this is a really good option for people who have dry/damaged hair but still occasionally want to use a hot tool with causing minimum damage. The iron itself looks sleek and feels high quality.

This is such a great tool. Love that it uses steam to straighten my hair and that means less damage for my hair! It’s really easy to use. In comparison to my regulate straightener I don't notice a difference in terms of heat. Because the ceramic plates till heat up to the same temperature as a regular flat iron, I don't notice any less damage, however I do like that the steam adds some hydration back into my hair. The overall smoothness and shine the flat iron gives is beautiful. This product was given to me complimentary from hot tools.

The water reservoir requires frequent filling but it’s a decent alternative to the very high heat of a traditional flat iron. Hair still comes out very straight and you really can’t tell the difference until it is time to add more water.
