[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: I like how large the water filter is. You don’t have to refill it every 30 minutes like some smaller pitchers I’ve tried. It dispenses with a pulldown handle and a button helps you understand when to replace the filter. The water did taste clean and appealing. The filter was leaking carbon particles in the wrapper but it stopped when I followed the instructed and soaked it before putting it the pitcher. Installation and pouring are incredibly easy. Cons: My biggest qualm was that the top piece was chipped and deeply cracked upon delivery telling me it’s not very durable. I do prefer glass pitchers over plastic and this is all plastic. The water gets filtered at a slow-medium clip which is on par with other brands. I also wish there was more detail on its ability to filter out forever chemicals. All in all, it is a good filter system but keep in mind it’s made of breaking plastic. Be gentle with the lid!
Cheapstuff is annoying
Tastes great but about a month after buying the nozzle started dripping making huge messes in our fridge. I kept thinking I had fixed it but no, drip drip drip all over. Guess I’ll be looking into other better quality water filters. Dumb.

This is pretty nice to have if you don’t already have a water filter installed in your refrigerator or by the sink. The dispenser worked pretty well in the beginning but occasionally water leaks through the front. I like that this product is very slim and minimalistic. It also lets you know when it’s time to change the filter. Overall, this would be a good inexpensive filter for someone who doesn’t want to invest in a more complicated one.

I really wanted to love this 30 cup water purifier from PUR, but it takes SO LONG to purify the water! In the same amount of time, i can fill and purify my normal 7 Cup PUR pitcher 30+ times. I timed it before and after i replaced the filter (just in case it was faulty) It's absolutely bonkers! Instead of waiting an hour or 2 for it to do it's thing, I purify in my 7 cup pitcher and then fill the 30 cup container w/o the water reservoir & filter installed. We get a large amount of clean water with a great spout.

So, the filter is awesome. Water tastes amazing. I love how much water the unit holds. Everything's great. However, the lighting replacement mechanism cannot be right. I ordered this two months ago and started using it April 30th - today is June 23rd, so less than two months. They say, on average, the filter should last 3 months - on average doesn't mean for huge families or for singles. I would assume some sort of adjustment there... I live alone and I have been out of town for about 15 days total. I also work 5 days a week so its not like i'm getting water from this all day every day.... It's saying I need to replace the filter. REALLY?! I don't believe this at all. There's NO WAY i've gone through that much water. If you're buying this for the light like I did, then don't waste your money.

After a few weeks the water isn’t filtering as fast or at all it looks like. I fill up the top and the next morning it’s still sitting there. I push down in the filter but not sure what else to do at this point. Also doesn’t seem to hold 30 cups of water at a time.

The filter took forever. The handle broke off after about a year of use. If there's a more durable option I would go with that. We'll probably just buy the big pitchers from here on out and use the filter on this for backup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, this dispenser filters the water well and makes it taste so much better. However, that’s where the good things end. It takes a shockingly long time to filter the water from the upper chamber into the lower dispensing chamber. And worse yet, the shape was not designed well. It is far too large to fit on any of the shelves in my fridge (I have a standard French door fridge).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is easy to assemble and use out of the box. The directions are clear. I wanted to try this as an alternative to buying cases of bottled water. I just don't get the hype. The water tastes the same after filtration as it does coming from the tap. I do have city water that is already treated, so maybe that's why. I imagine this would make well water taste better, but I just didn't taste the difference.

I love the design of this filter. It's very sleek and fits perfectly in my fridge without occupying too much shelf space, but the filters don't last more than 2 to 3 weeks for me. I have had this filter for a few months and I've had the same issue every time I change the filter. I have tried several different filters...same issue. I have tried removing the filter and holding it under running water, tapping it gently against the side of the sink to release any potential clogging to no avail. I may just purchase the Brita version b/c it is really annoying.
