I've been having to replace these dispensers every 6-9 months because the spigot inevitably breaks. Customer service is non existent. Do yourself a favor and buy another brand.

I wish I had listened to the other reviews, but I was so enamored with the concept of a no-pour option, I decided to buy the Pur. About two weeks after purchasing this unit, water stopped flowing. Because there isn’t a whole lot of mechanical engineering to this pitcher, I figured it was because of the filter. I bought new filters. I have tried with three separate packages of filters (about $30/pkg). Within the first few days of replacing the filter, there is nothing but a trickle. I have an in sink filter that I regularly replace. In addition to this, I have had the water tested for contaminants and the water that is going into the Pur filter is not incredibly disgusting. I live in an older home with questionable plumbing so I feel safer double filtering. I also don’t enjoy the chlorinated taste of city water. My diabetic roommate has been drinking soda again, and I have been avoiding drinking at all out of aggravation with this darned product. We wanted to make the healthier, cheaper, less wasteful choice. Perhaps that choice is a Brita filter instead. Save yourself the headache and listen to the reviews. Don’t be stubborn like me!

The spicket lever broke off within a month.

Leaked on the first day! My crisper was continuously soaked !!! Will return and buy the regular PUR.

This is my second one, our first one we had for several years. The handle broke and we had to get a new one. We purchased it in January and it has slowly leaked and gottne worse over time. I have to keep a towel under it til I can get a replacement or I have water all over my fridge.

The spout on this thing leaks. I had water pooled under the front of my refrigerator. I took it apart to clean and check the o-ring, but noticed that it's the stopper in the mouth of the spout that is the problem. It just doesn't close all the way. Bad design.

Would not recommend at all. Bought and after filling for the first time realized the spout is leaky and after being in the fridge only overnight it filled my whole bottom shelf and fresh drawers with water. Horrible design.
