Don't waste your time with the filter that comes with it, which will inevitably clog no matter how many times you rinse or shake it. Get the shorter replacement filters, they don't filter as many contaminants but fill much quicker.

Pretty easy instructions, after removing filter from packaging, let it soak in clean water 15 minutes, then run under water 10 seconds. The filter locks in the top of the dispenser. My biggest gripe is.. I know it's filtering, however, it took over ½ hr for all the water to work thru the filter nro the container. That seemed a bit lengthy. We have horrible well water. It did remove the sulfur smell but I still had an iron taste to the filtered water. Definitely nowhere as bad as straight from our tap but did not remove all the strong taste we have. Claims are the filter lasts 2 months. I'm sure it could be less or more depending on just how bad your tap water is. It may not last 2 months as we have very bad iron in our well water. Great size. Using for our Keurig refills

As long as our tap water was kept in the fridge, it has always tasted good, or so I thought! Can definitely taste a difference using this filtered pitcher. Much better without all of the chemicals! The filter was very easy to put in. I love the convenience of the push button pour spout. There is a sensor that will let you know when it is time to change the filter. Very convenient to not have to fill up my old water pitcher all of the time.

This dispenser is effective at removing lead and improving the taste of their tap water. I felt water tasted better. thank you PUR !!

We have been using this filter for over a year, filtering about 2-4 gallons per day for drinking and cooking water & it’s held up better than all other filters we’ve tried. The filter change estimate is pretty accurate, about every 3 months, and very easy to change. We put the whole thing in the dishwasher, aside from the spout which needs to be hand washed. Fits nicely on the counter or in the fridge. 4 star rating because we’ve run into two faulty filters

The spigot just gave in. Otherwise, it was a good run while it lasted. Does anyone know if there's any support for it from pur?

Love this system better that brita as the spout placement is better and it can be washed in the dishwasher. The only reason it wasnt 5 stars is because the filter doesnt last as long as it says it does. We had to replace the filter after 21 days as it was gummed-down and barely filtered any water at all. As soon as we changed the filter, it went back to working right. The light was still blinking green so i know werent weren’t over the limits. We filter anywhere from 2-5L of water a day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how small and compact this water purification system is. It’s big yet it fits slim in my fridge. My tap water turns into tasting like amazing drinking water after running it through this system. The only complaint I have is how SLOW the water filters through this system. It takes at-least 15-20 minutes to fill completely back up. There also is some blue dots that float around occasionally? I don’t know what those are from.
