The water tastes great. Just got it set up so don't know how long the filter will last.

My family goes through alot of bottled water so this product is amazing. We save on the plastic bottles and get nice , crisp , cold water right from our fridge. This thing makes 18 8oz cups of water when full. It's so easy to use that my young kids can pull the lever and get a cold glass of water. We have had a Pur water dispenser before and were very happy with it. The 18 cup version is wonderful and helps us get our water intake up to where it needs to be. The taste of the water is fresh and not stale. Our tap water is not terrible to begin with but this ensures that we wont need to buy water bottles anymore. If you live in California yes you need to get this item. It filter really good, the water taste great. It's very easy to assemble and very easy to clean as well. The light reminded is good not to bright. I'm almost happy with this product since it filters better than other brand but few days ago the nozzle is already leaking water like drippings. Florida water is definitely not the best tasting. Being someone who is constantly hydrating I buy large amounts of bottled water. It's a pain transferring those bottles into a large capacity water bottle that stays cold on the go. This 18 cup capicity warer filtration system was exactly what I needed. I can easily fill my water bottle for the gym right from my fridge. The water actually tastes just as good as bottled water without any chemical tastes. It's a win for me I have fresh water and no pladtic waste. Fits nicely on the 2nd shelf of my fridge snd has an easy dispenser I have no problems using and avoiding spills. I'm a tad concerned with the dispenser holding up but so far, so good. An led light indicator is shown that lets you know when the filter is in need of replacement. I suspect I won't get 3 months worth as an above average user but the cost savings in bottles negates that to me. I find I refill about every 2 days. This is a great filtered water dispenser. It’s much larger than I was expecting but I love how much water it can hold. You fill the top half and as it filters the water fills the bottom half. So we set it on the counter to filter the first half and then refill for the second half and put it back in the fridge. Takes about 10 mins to fully filter. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the spout tends to leak if you don’t check it after every use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The PUR 18 Cup Ultimate Dispenser Filtration System is very easy to assemble, it takes a little time because you have to soak the filter but once that is done you add ypur water and reset the spout button and slide it in you refrigerator. I love the fact that we are getting filtered water with the ease of just opening the refrigerator. The one issue I had and it could be just me was filling it and transferring to the refrigerator, wish there was away that I didn't have to take it out to fill. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this purifier! I have been using it about a week & the water tastes great! I am using it for coffee, drink mix & for the dog water. I did have some issues at first getting the water to filter. I soaked it for 15 minutes then rinsed it as instructed. The water didn’t flow through, so I had to remove it & shake it a bit. It was fine afterward. I do notice charcoal floating in the top tank & not really sure if that’s normal. I have a well & never noticed that maybe the water wasn’t great. But now that I have tried this, I notice the difference. My coffee tastes so much better!

It did take awhile for the water to filter through but it gave me a good feeling that its actually doing what its supposed to and getting all the nasty stuff out of the water. Afterwards the water at the bottom looked crystal clear. It's in the fridge ready to drink and maybe to fill the coffee maker up. So far I haven't had any issues with the handle or anything not working. This is convenient and portable. It's a good way to save money on not buying bottles or jugs of water. Clean water is at your fingertips whether it's for drinking, cooking, or even giving the pets safe water to drink.

The setup process was effortless and this product delivered quality tasting water in matter of minutes. The water from this purifier was clean and clear while it tasted crisp and refreshing. The dispenser handle was easy to use and the water came flowing out flawlessly. Only comment I have is that handle could be designed better using better materials, as this could break easily. Refilling this dispenser was simple and I am guaranteed to have excellent quality water free of harmful chemicals and debris. This is a solid product that every household should own!
