This watch is amazing all the way around. Coming from the S3 frontier, I was excited to get this watch which has a much simpler design without losing any of the functions and features. The glass is slightly domed which gives it a bit of a vintage feel. It is extremely light compared to other smart watches and when on a rubber strap, its so light and comfortable you almost forget it's there. I only wish the battery life was a bit longer. With the GPS, NFC and wifi off, I get about 2 1/2 days from full to about 10%. Overall, this watch is great, very sleek and modest it can easily go from formal to the gym and still look great.

Amazing watch, tooooons of amazing features but it does have some issues with apps. I've had sleep tracking run an hour or so longer after I've woke up. No idea why since I'm moving around. Only other issues I have are with downloaded apps but those have nothing to do with Samsung products. I wish the battery last longer. I'll get a few days depending on how much I use it. Heavy use will kill the battery in a day or two while light use will last much longer. But it's not something is consider a "terrible battery". It lasts x2 -x4 longer than my phone so I guess that's great. It will take a while to dial in the watch to how you want it but that's part of the fun. Is highly recommend this watch to anyone

This watch is amazing! Had the older gear watches before and this one has the sleek design and fully touch screen. Very easy to use and very responsive. Packed full of features you wouldn't even think you'd need but once you set it up you'll use EVERYDAY. Has ECG feature and heart rate monitor built in and the watch faces are sweet and you can customize to you style and liking. Tracks sleep and steps VERY accurately and the battery is lasting me 3 days with constant notifications and usage which is amazing from my old watch that only lasted a few hours. If your looking for a Samsung watch then look no further. I was between 3 models and chose this one but wow am I impressed and I have worked in this industry for over 20 years. Great buy and highly recommend!

This was one of the best purchases of my life! It tracks perfectly! It tracks my sleep, heart rate, exercise, water, food...I could keep going. I can't believe I got so lucky on this buy. I bought it to keep track of workouts and not only does it do that, but it even suggests workouts for you such as squats, deadlifts, push-ups etc (they have a long list) and it only counts it if the workout is done right i.e. if you do not do a full squat it won't count it for you. Thank you so much Samsung you never let me down!! Keep doing what your doing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I use this to track my movement and my sleep. Works great and helps a lot with messages when working. I don't have to pick up my phone anymore.

I actually upgraded from the original Galaxy active watch that came out several months ago. The increased screen size and touch bezel seemed like enough for me to give it a try.Anyways. I walk my dog twice a day and swim laps 3-4 days a week. The fitness on the watch automatically detects my walks with my dog and when swimming the screen is super bright and early to read in the pool. More than that, with these workouts and always on screen activated this watch lasts me easily the whole day, something that can't be said about other smart watches.Tizen in this watch is a smooth and fast experience. The touch bezel, while not perfect, makes navigating the menus a breeze.Since my pebble watch, I've gone through other smart watches trying to find a withreplacement, from fossil smart watches, tic watch pro, amazfit bip, etc and all have felt like compromises. Anyone with a pebble, though the screen was lacking, can tell you that watch was unmatched in battery life, it's always on display, and blazing fast navigation. This Galaxy active 2 checks all the boxes.If you're on Android this is the watch to buy.

I'm a new breasfeeding mom and have never liked watches. However, I found myself needing to know the time, all the time! When did the baby last eat? How long did he eat for? What day is it?🤪 lol I would also barely have my phone on me and if it was out of reach while baby was eating or sleeping comfortably in my hands, i would miss all the calls and texts because i didnt want to get up and disturb the baby.Having this watch has really helped me organize myself, stay in touch with family and friends even when I'm busy, and even helped with tracking my stress levels, burned calories, and activity levels. The hourly reminders to stretch or get moving were really helpful, too!The one and only thing I didnt like is the watch band. It gave me a really bad rash that looked like a burn. Im not allergic to anything and i cleaned it often, so not sure what that was about. I bought a new metal magnetic band and all is well.🥰Also works well with the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G Ultra.

This is a great watch. I went back to android and decided on this one and I love it. It has great activity tracking and is the next best thing to Apple Watch. The battery lasts me over 24hrs so I can track my sleep. When I wake up and get a shower I throw it on the charger and I am good to go. I have never since owning had to leave it on a charger. All of the health portions are awesome except sometimes it doesn't seem to register when I get up and move for the part that tracks when I stand and move. Besides that the only big downside is the watch is Tenzin and not android which I can survive but I liked to have android app compatibility. Over-all a must buy, or by now the newer model if you want the best.

I wanted to wait a whole month before writing a review but I couldn't wait that long. I use my watch for everyday life. It's comfortable, elegant, highly effective, 2 1/2 days of battery, beautiful watch faces, health apps are awesome, it's pretty loud, calls are crystal clear, display is fantastic, and I get lots of compliments about it. I paired it with my new Bold N1 and it's working great. Bold 1 doesn't have NFC, but the Active 2 does. I do have one complaint about the watch, and that's Bixby. Samsung please, listen to the people. Bixby has got to go. It's not accurate. Out of 10 questions if you're lucky, it will answer 2. That's not good. 3 1/2 stars for the watch is my best review, and all because of Bixby. With Google Assistant or Siri in it, I would've given this watch 5 stars. Regardless; I still recommend this product. This is all I can tell you for now. Be aware about this; Amazon promised a wireless charger with the purchase of the watch before 10/26/09, but you have to fill out a bunch of stuff to get it. I don't think that's fair. It should've been included with the watch.

First & foremost, this is my 1st smart watch. I looked at quite a few, but went with this one since I'm an android / Samsung guy. I use the Samsung health app almost daily & that's really the ONLY reason I decided to get a smart watch. Really cool, easy to use features. I usually can't STAND wearing watches, but got this for health tracking alone. Biking / running / walking mainly. Haven't used the other "activities" though. I use the timer quite a bit for cooking or even doing planks. I did, however, stop the notifications of text messages & Facebook messages, since it was driving me crazy. That's just me though. It's pretty cool talking into your wrist like Knight Rider, but of course we all know that's not going to be the highest quality sound, but it really does work. Super happy with this & actually have talked a friend into getting one as well.
