Like it alot

It works great and I've enjoyed it. Battery life is pretty good. I keep it on all the time and I usually have 60% battery life left at the end of the day. However, the casing scratches easily. Its black but I have several silver spots at the edge of the casing where it meets the edges. So when you scape against something, it can take the paint off. So I will have to touch it up with a sharpie.

Nice watch but galaxy watch just looks little better

Really wanted to like this watch, but it was just a tad too big on my wrist. 43mm would have been perfect. Ultimately though I found the galaxy watch 42mm to be more comfortable, and the watch faces I use look better on that screen size. The thing that really irks me about Samsung’s watches however, is that you need to turn off a lot of the functions to get 4 days of battery life. They’re going to have to improve in order I compete with huawei and others which are half the price and 4x the battery life. I have no love for Samsung in particular. I’m looking for a watch I can use all the features on for a week without needing to top up, and so far they haven’t delivered while other have.

Great supplement to the Samsung s9 phone with some exceptions.

This watch has great features like playing my favorite songs, making and receiving phone calls and looking at old pictures. However, I would have given it a 5 star rating but for two of its features. The counted steps seem to be low and the distance seems to be too high. At least that is how it seems compared to my Pedometer android app.I did notice that as of today at 1:55 PM I notice on Google Fit that at this time they showed: 1,705 steps and 0.61 miles. My Samsung watch showed 1,710 steps 0.76 miles. My Pedometer App showed 2,303 steps and 0.54 miles. Thus, all THREE vary a lot from each other.I especially like the Sleep measurements if the watch is worn while sleeping.

Not charging after 1 week **updated review**

So I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband and he was totally excited. He charged it up and started using it to track everything. Unfortunately after a week it stopped charging. The watch does a slight buzz like it's trying to charge but that's it. Im super disappointed since this was supposed to be the perfect Christmas gift. We need a new charger or a new phone.**Update**Its been 9 months and we were able to 'fix'the problem. It seems the charger wasn't working and after trying various outlets it began working. He hasn't had a charging issue since the second week of owning the watch. We still don't know what happened but it works fine now. He bought a similar one for me and I've been in love with mine from day one. No issues at all.

Love the watch

Love this watch. Especially the long battery life. I can get almost 3 days out of it with normal use. I use it about 30 to 60 minutes when taking walks. I got this after I had bypass surgery as a way to track my heart rate and when the feature is available using the EKG feature. Outside of the features the watch looks great and fits great. I've had more compliments on this watch than others. I have had some issue when sweating a lot and the heart rate monitor doesn't read. I need to take it off and wipe it down then it's all good. Maybe I just need to tighten the band up. This would be a full 4 stars in all areas of it hand Android Wear. I miss some of the functions on there I can't get on this watch especially since I don't have a Samsung phone.

Bought it outdated anyway

Didn't have the watch a year and it died. I bought it outdated anyway. The time I did have it, it lived up to its expectations. The battery life was always fickle, but it always comes down to what it was trying to do. Sometimes the watch tried to map out too much health items. Interface was pretty easy and the app it very simple. Wish it had lasted at least a full year.

Wish battery life was longer

We bought 2 of these. Wish battery life was longer. We get about 1-1.5 days before needing to be charged. Depends on how active we are. The more active the faster it runs the battery down. As we use them to control the music apps as we workout. Steps & distance both seem to be very close to accurate (as the trail we use has mile markers). Reason for the 4 stars is we had to return and replace one of the watches as it was not accurate at all. Steps & distance were off about 500-700 steps pre mile and we did and 24 mile trip and it only showed 36,820 steps & 18.6 miles ( I avg. 1900-2000 steps a mile depending on my walk speed) Where as the other watch showed 47,958 steps & 23.96 miles and when checked with google maps distance showed to be about 24 miles.

Nice, but no Google Assistant

I do like the watch overall for fitness tracking and receiving text message notifications as well as a few other apps, but very disappointed that it doesn't support Google Assistant. Bixby just isn't as good with voice recognition and responsiveness. I often get a service not available notice when trying to use Bixby. It was also very trying to get Bixby set-up.Other than that it was easy to get started and easy to use. Battery last a few days in most cases. One feature I do really like is that it counts reps for crunches and weight lifting. Wish you could customize the number of reps in a set and the number of sets.I would recommend the watch if you have a Samsung phone, otherwise don't see why you would want to be stuck with Bixby.

Good Not Great

I guess I had bigger expectations. I imagined this as like a mini close-to-a smart phone or your wrist but it's more like a smart switch for example - does a heck of lot more than a regular watch and works with your phone. The Samsung Health features are nice - step tracking w/o your phone plus monitoring your heart rate, stress, and sleep. It's also nice to have your calendar and weather on your wrist. I really like how you can use it as Spotify remote as well. They shouldn't be bragging about the battery life, it lasts maybe 2 days. Bixby (Galaxy's virtual assistant) is garbage compared to Google Assistant, Alexa, Siri, etc.Overall, I like it and am glad I bought it just can't wait for new and improved versions to come out in the future since the tech is somewhat new.

Looks great, bright display, loaded with features, great battery life, but has a few bugs

Looks great, the display is super bright even in sunlight and the ability to answer my phone via the Bluetooth connection is surprising handy. It works as advertised except two of its may functions:1) It does not count stairs. I am up and down full flights of stairs throughout the day and it may register 1 or 2 flights when it should have counted dozens. This problem is independent of the watchface in use. My old Fitbit accurately counts my stair activity.2) When I start an exercise routine I get false pulse readings as high as 150 but in a minute or so settles down to an accurate number I have confirmed with my Polar heart rate monitor.
