I decided to get this watch for my husband as he was having some health issues and the doctors were still trying to figure out what was going on. He was diagnosed with tachycardia so I figured this would be a great way to keep track of his heart rate. About two weeks after having the watch, he was about to leave home to go to work. He started to feel dizzy and light headed and the watch notified him that he was in A fib. The watch recorded the episode and we got to the ER right away. We were able to show the ER doctor and his primary care doctor the results of what the watch recorded. We would have never known had we not gotten this product. He is now seeing a cardiologist. This product is definitely worth every penny and I'm thankful we had it when we did.

I've been waiting for a decent replacement for my Pebble for some time. Until the Galaxy Active 2 came out, there was not a worthwhile contender IMO. This watch seems to meet my requirements and even has a touchscreen! I can talk to it, listen to it (couldn't do that with the Pebble), control music with it, and do all of the other things I need with it (appointments, texts, phone calls, etc.). I even found a text based watchface (one of my favorites for my Pebble). I am very pleased with it so far, I only wish the battery would last over a week with the display always on, like it did with my Pebble. So far though, I'm on my 3rd day since my last charge without the display always on (but I don't use any of the fitness/health tracking stuff either and I turn off WiFi and Bluetooth every night). I'd be fine with a full 24 hours on a charge, so this is good. I also like a steel watchband instead of rubber. Nice watch and looks to be an awesome replacement!

Got it for myself, and I can't get over this watch!!!!! I LOVE it and use it almost all the time! Fabulous build quality, perfect price, super convenient to use, and looks AMAZING!I thnk this IS the perfect smartwatch that everyone should get. I have been using for well over six months, and it has always been an awesome companion! It looks good In any location - wrist, table, even on the wall! (See pictures)I use it mainly to track my work out activity, and the range of workouts it allows one to track is such a complete list! I only hope they add yoga to this soon. My favorite is to track my biking activity! It motivates me to workout everyday, so that's another plus!Battery life is two days - EASILY!Another great thing about this is the controllability and non-dependance on your phone. You can record workouts, control music in your buds, and also watch videos on this - all while staying away from your phone!!! It has to be in acceptable range though, since this is not a standalone LTE watch.I think it's the best value for money smartwatch money can buy right now!

I don't see the point of buying the LTE version. I opted for the Bluetooth / WiFi version. Since I I always have my cell phone with me I can make calls from my watch and it sounds pretty good. The speaker is pretty loud also. The mic seems to work well. I didn't think I would like the health features but I actually use them more than I thought. EKG works not sure about the O2 sensor, I haven't looked into that or if that is even and option. My eyes are not great but this is very easy to read for me. I choose this over the Galaxy 3 watch because of the huge price difference and they do practically the same thing. The bezel on this watch is touch screen based and seems to work well. Battery life, easily two days. I also love the wireless magnetic wireless charger and the watch charges surprisingly fast.

Tech: It's a standalone full Android device! It tracks my health noticably better than my phone did. I now have it integrated with my home so my watch controls my lights, music, TV, and phone, if I want. It's very easy to use with or without your phone. It can do GPS without WiFi or Bluetooth connection to the phone, because it has all of it's own sensors.Health: It tracks my stairs per day which I very much enjoy keeping a target of 20 floors everyday during the work week. I now use it to also remind me to keep moving while in the office and stretch periodically which has me coming come no longer sore. It tracks your calories, water intake, and weight through my smart scale, if you want.Sleep: The sleep insights have changed my perception of my sleep patterns. At first I assumed it was incorrect, but then I kept watching closer and closer to prove it, and I was eventually debunked by my own math. This thing catches how long it takes to fall asleep and how asleep you really are. Explains why I've been more tired than I believed I should be...

This is my first Samsung smart watch and I totally love it. I have only had it a couple of months now but I have not had any troubles with it not sending me a notification from my phone. Compared to the other watches I've used, this one is so much more accurate. I was also very surprised with how much of a difference there was with the step counts. My other watches under counted all of my steps quite a bit. I don't want to throw anyone else under the buss, but this watch by far is the winner. It does so many awesome things that I have not had the time to learn yet. I can take a shower with it on and I've been told it can be worn in a pool as well. My only complaint about it would be on the low power magnet where it wirelessly charges. This makes it more difficult to keep it charging if you don't have a dock.

I bought this for the heart rate monitor, and the ultimate selling point..the ambient light sensor.being able to see the display outdoors in the sun is VERY helpful.pros:way too many to list them all, but I'll call out a few.ability to answer calls when hooked up to one's phone via bluetooth.ability to use the watch as a speakerphone when answering said phonecalls.ability to control music playback..no it does NOT matter what app one uses for playback.so many watch faces and customizable ones at that, that its seriously not funny.expandable capabilities, simply add the requisite app to the watch.cons:the wrist band has a tendency to get slick with sweat and feel all scuzzy and slimy in humid weather, a more breathable band would have been a better choice than this tpu polymer band.observations:depending on how often/long you have the display active and what features you enable, the battery will either last barely a day, or many days.I've gotten almost five days on a single charge repeatedly.you WILL spend DAYS just playing with it, learning what all it can do, and I havent even touched on the fitness features packed into this watch.Expensive..but WORTH the price.

I bought this as a gift for my husband who is a personal trainer who runs his own business and he loves it. He has the Galaxy Note and loves the seamless integration between the watch and his phone. He loves the breathing app, the tracking features. When working he can quickly check for emergencies in between exercises or prep time. This is especially useful when he has back to back sessions in the morning. It also stops him from missing important messages from clients. He loves that you can answer your phone from the watch and can call his phone if he misplaces it.I love it because of its versatility. It can be dressed up to look like a business watch for business functions or dressed down to look like a fitness watch, and the accessories to do this are not expensive at all. I got him 3 different looking screen protectors for $8 (a must for a trainer swinging kettlebells and other gym equipment). My husband also always breaks watch straps but, if needed, this replacement will not be expensive and is easy to do without taking it to our watch guy.

Let me tell something, i was always skeptical into buying a smartwatch no matter who was the manufacturer, because to me it always seemed like a gimmick, like a trend that we all will get over it, but sometime has passed a little over 3 years, and boy i was wrong. So this 2019 i bought the S10+ which i already left my review, i love my phone but i was curious over the smartwatch experience that so many people now were having. So i started looking for one, and review after review i noticed that there is many more options available for people on android than iOS. There was fossil, fitbit, huawei, lg, samsung and others. But i realized that the quality of smartwatch made my Samsung was overall the best. I looked for reviews for the Galaxy Watch and the Galaxy Active and was undecided over which one should buy, until the Galaxy Watch Active 2 came out. After reviewing it online i decided that this is the watch i should get. I've been using it a little over a month and let me tell you its awesome. It completely changed my view of smartwatches and usefulness of owning one. The build quality is great, the features great, design is awesome, battery lasts 2 days, i can use almost every strap, the health apps are precise, it can play spotify standalone without having to be connected via bluetooth to my S10+. THIS IS THE BEST SMARTWATCH YOU CAN BUY FOR NON APPLE USERS. GET IT NOW!
