[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a 6 year old means it’s a must to have an accurate working thermometer that is easy to use and easy to read. When you have a little one it’s easiest to have one that you don’t have to get your child into position where they have to sit still for long. This is that thermometer. The Braun no-touch forehead thermometer is a superior device.. It has a picture on the device showing where to aim it when taking a temperature and a protective cover so it won’t get damaged when you put it away. I love that you have one button that turns it on and off and one button for temperature taking. The display screen is a nice readable size (important) and has a side button for volume or no volume, which is my favorite part about this device. The silence function is perfect for the nights I need to take my little ones temp while she is sleeping but I don’t want to wake her up with beeping. This thermometer also has a light so you can navigate in the dark! It tells you when it needs batteries though I have not had to change batteries yet. The green lighted screen will time out after a bit (go dim) once you aren’t using it and then it will shut off completely a little while after that, great for battery conservation when you may forget to turn it off. Braun thought of everything. Excellent must have mom thermometer!

It works so fast too ! It reads your temperature almost instantly and is super fast to power on and off. It seems accurate when compared to my other thermometer and I love that it’s no contact so things stay sanitary between uses. It also has a light that shows you where it’s pointing for accurate aim and tells you if you need to move it closer. Also it comes with batteries !!
