Perfect addition to our deck. Very easy to assemble. Easy to operate and manipulate to adjust height and the swivel is a must as the sun changes direction, can adjust shade area. Color is true to pictures. Time will tell but seems very sturdy. It was windy yesterday and we have this umbrella On a upper level deck and it was fine. We did buy the appropriate base which is important. Will update at end of summer once we use it for a while.

I am very pleased with this umbrella. I had a little hiccup at the beginning... began to unpack and assemble and found that I was missing a couple of parts. I emailed Purple Leaf and got an almost immediate response, apologizing for the missing parts and they assured me that they would be shipped asap. Sure, enough I received the missing parts in a couple of days, finished assembling the umbrella and it is beautiful. Works as advertised, and I would highly recommend getting the larger (40"x40") base for this. The umbrella is huge, but this base filled with water holds it nicely.

We got the 8’ first, but decided a 10’ would be better. So we have their 8’ over our spa and the 10’ over furniture. It’s fairly waterproof, attractive and doesn’t fade as much as other umbrellas. We also purchased the stand by purple leaf and it’s awesome. We kept our unbrella up all last winter with no problems...and Chico gets very windy. Love this product!

This umbrella is high quality and easy to set up. We bought the in-ground base, since we didn't want to give up the patio real estate for a movable base. This arrangement is perfect for us. The accompanying instructions were pretty minimal, but since the thing came assembled, not a big deal. I dinged it slightly 'cause it was more expensive than similar items, but I have no idea what their quality would be. Comes with a great cover for the winter. We love it!

We have had our umbrella for almost a year now, and it is amazing. The amount of unencumbered shade it produces is awesome, and it is super easy to use. I didn't (like many) not realize that the base didn't come with it, so had to order it separately and wait, but it was so worth it. Not to mention, we had a small hiccup about a month ago, and I only asked customer service a question, and they ended up going above and beyond to help me out. I would definitely recommend this product.

Sturdy, great looking. Storm Dec 2021 I left it up, the winds ripped it. My fault. I searched for a replacement canopy. Nothing with the exact spec. Called Purple Leaf to buy a replacement. They asked for a screenshot of my order to get the specs exact. They emailed back and said it was still under warrantee and a replacement would come in the mail. Shocked, shocked. Great Company!!!

I write very few reviews but I’m impressed enough with the product and customer service to take the time. I research before I buy and I expect products to last for years. This umbrella seems to be up to the challenge. The mechanical pieces of the umbrella are sturdy. The quality of the cloth is very good. Once it was out of the box it only took my husband and me a couple of minutes to set it up. My deck faces north and I needed an umbrella that could block the east and west exposures. With the vertical range of this umbrella, I’m all set. I reached out to customer service via email twice for general questions. Both replies made me feel like this company is in business for the long haul and will be there in the future if I need any replacement parts.

I am very pleased with this company! I had bought 3 umbrellas with the bases!! Very good quality!! After 1 year contacted the company and asked for a part for one of the umbrellas. They were very quick to reply and send 3 of the same part, just in case there was a problem with the others!! Very good customer help!! They still look like new and we love the product, have three of them next to each other on our lake deck!! awesome product you will not be disappointed!! I would for sure buy from them again!!

My first order for this umbrella was never delivered. FedEx claim took 7 days and they couldn't find the item. I requested a refund from Purple Leaf and they offered to replace the item, which took about 10 days. Very impressed with the response from Purple Leaf, clearly a company that stands by it's products. Amazing umbrella which is built to withstand the troublesome wind gusts on our 7th floor deck which have cost us 2 umbrellas/year. Highly recommend and absolutely fantastic. Very satisfied customer.

Got this on an "open box" buy and I was a little nervous about issues, or missing parts. It came complete and perfect, I feel like I scored a huge deal. The umbrella is MASSIVE. I was debating between the 13' round or 12' square and the 12' square just covers more area. This is a great umbrella for us, it's easy to open and close, and it's a high quality umbrella.
