I was thrilled to receive this curling iron to test from the stellar product testing panel. I’m always impressed by the quality of hot tools products! I have a 1 inch curling iron from hot tools so I was interested in trying out the 1 1/4 barrel to create bigger waves. The curling iron has a dial to choose the heat settings needed, I started with a lower temp but found my hair needed it a bit hotter so I upped the temp in order for my hair to curl better. I noticed that it heated up very quickly when I initially plugged it in to turn it on which is great and it seemed to maintain an even temperature throughout my time using it. My hair is just below my shoulder and I found that the large curls it created on me were really pretty at first, however they all seemed to fall fairly fast. I ended up with nice subtle waves throughout the day which I liked but ir you’re wanting curl definitely I’d recommend a smaller barrel, or if you have longer hair this would probably work a little better than on shorter hair! Overall, I’m still really happy with this product and will be reaching for it whenever I’m wanting subtle waves added to my hair. Thanks for the product stellar!

I wasn’t sure that this cool would work for me since I typically use a wand. I was very pleased with the way this curler kept my curls all day long and how easy it was to use! The only drawback was learning to use the clip again but only took a few try’s and it was a quick and easy hairdo. Another great thing is that it heats up really quickly and has auto shut off. The Hot Tools 1 1/4” curling iron is efficient with quick heating and a wide range of temperature settings. The temperature setting moves freely which can be nice because it offers a wide range but I wish it would click into place because I’m worried I’ll accidentally hit it and kick the temperature up. I haven’t done it yet though! The size of the barrel is perfect for every day bouncy curls. The curls stay all day and it’s even better when you pair it with the Pro Artist Curl Protector Heat & Style Protecting Curl Mousse. I have naturally wavy, frizzy hair and it was easy to create smooth, silky curls that stayed all day! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this hair care item!

I really like the Hot Tools Pro Signature 1 1/4 inch curling iron that I received through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am all about a product that continually works and this curling iron gets the job done. I used it in combination with a mousse, and it heat up quickly and kept my curls intact. I like the feel of the handle and it is very easy to use. The kickstand is great for putting it on my counter. I really like the width of the 1 and 1/4 inch barrel, which makes the perfect curls on my thick brown hair. I would definitely recommend to a friend!

Worked great for helping add curl to the stubborn straight chunks in my daughter’s otherwise curly hair. User friendly and easy to use on very long hair. I received the Hot Tools Pro Signature 1 ¼" Gold Curling Iron for free through the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. My first impression when opening the box is that it's a very pretty curling iron. I love the gold barrel, it makes curling my hair feel more glamorous, and when trying it on my daughter's hair she said she felt very fancy. More importantly, it warmed up quite quickly, and I like that you can control the temperature more precisely than just "high" or "low." I was able to make beautiful waves as well as thick ringlets in my daughter's long hair. My hair is shorter, more of a bob as I'm growing out a pixie, so I thought the thick barrel might not work well for me. To my surprise, I actually managed to pull off some nice beachy waves. Overall, I think this is a nice styling tool. I've only had it about a week, so I look forward to working with it some more, especially as I grow my hair out a bit longer.

I was this iron through through the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out. Overall, I think it a fabulous curling iron, and a great deal for the price. It heats up quickly and evenly and I'm able to curl my hair very quickly. The curls are long lasting and bouncy and the barrel size is perfect for creating big voluminous curls that aren't too tight. I was very impressed with the quality of the iron and feel like I get comparable results with higher end irons I've used. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you try this iron and would recommend it as a great everyday iron. My only complaint is that my hair got caught in the clamp a few times if I was moving too quickly. It isn't a deal breaker for me, but just something to be aware of. Would still recommend and use the iron!

It heats up quickly and I love that it has multiple heat settings so I don’t fry my hair. I have 22” extensions, so the extended barrel really helped. It allowed all of my hair to wrap nicely around and left me with even, effortless looking curls. I used this curling iron with product on my hair (a curl mouse) and something I really appreciated was how the barrel didn’t get gross and gunky- something I have experienced with most other hair tools. For the price point, this is a really nice product!
