The Hot Tools signature curling iron does NOT hold curls! I have used other curling irons that hold much better curls. I wanted to try this since it had great reviews but I cannot recommend this curling iron. My hair was flat not even a few hours afterwards.

No matter how hot this curling iron gets, it WILL NOT CURL YOUR HAIR! Strangest thing ever. Will be returning

Curl did not hold at all, the first curls I did had fallen by the time I finished my head. I have medium but thin hair, naturally wavy, it does have a hard time holding a curl overall but this iron was worse than usual. Returned.

Hair was clean, dry, and had no styling product. She could smell the hair burning within 2 seconds, unwrapped it and was appalled to see a section of bangs emerge scorched black and brittle --> broke off!!! Photo #1 = charcoal hair bits Photo #2 = bangs, long ..... and short Photo #3 = residue of burnt hair on barrel of wand

I bought this when my cheap Conair iron died, after 6 years of use. I thought I would get a better quality iron if I paid more and it looked fancier. I was wrong. The spring sticks open, then snaps shut at will. I've burned myself more times than I can count. After 3 months of use, and some burn scars, I'm pitching it over the moon. Maybe I just got a dud, but it sure has soured me on this brand.

Curls don’t stay and pulls your hair out of your not careful

It doesn’t hold a curl.. that’s weird. I will be returning it. The curler feels and looks nice though. That’s it.

Won’t curl my hair at all :( I use all types of things to curl my hair including straighteners and this won’t do anything. The waves it did put in, fell within minutes. I was so sad. Definitely shouldn’t be 40$

Looks high end but it doesnt heat up. first day i used it noticed part of the top was loose. very disappointed in this product

This thing is terrible. Doesn’t curl at all. There is barely any bend to my hair even at 430 degrees. I think mine may be a defect but the box got thrown out so I guess it’s just trash :(
