We named our vacuum "Bubba" as we have 2 big dogs who shed. I took the advice of other reviews, and did a detailed manual vacuum. Then I run "Bubba" daily. You would be amazed at the amount of hair picked up. And it will go under furniture as we have hardwoods. I empty it frequentl and clean out the inside of the vacuum as some hair gets caught. Definitely worth the money!

Just received this last week, works great! I found out that is is exactly the same as the Shark model AV2501AE, the only difference is that model has a gold colored piece on top of the vacuum and this model has a silver piece. Other than that all features are the same. I saved an extra 30 bucks on this model over the other one. I checked prices today and they are almost the same, so, be sure to check prices on both models. Watch for delivery dates if you click on other sellers, some of the cheaper ones are like a month away, so, watch for that. Both models have the exact same maintenance manual on the Shark website.

Dang I am getting lazy --- got this thing set up to start at 0800 every day ... does the job ... it got stuck a few times and ran out of battery but not the units fault. A feature that does need to be added to these units is a notice to tell a human that it is stuck (just in case that human is close enough to rescue the vac) other than that it works great. I have 2800 sq ft house and by 1230 hrs its done.

This is the first vacuum robot I’ve ever had. I did days worth of research before finally ordering it. And I love it! I found it easy to set up and it accurately mapped my home in about 45 minutes. I love the idea that I can have it clean one room or one area of a room. I have 3 dogs and a doggie door so they are always bringing grass clippings and dirt into the house. I don’t find the machine noisy except when it’s emptying into the reservoir. It depends how much dirt/how often you use your machine as to how often you will need to empty the reservoir. When it empties itself, it goes right back to where it stopped and resumes vacuuming. It vacuums row by row overlapping so it picks everything up. It doesn’t get the corners well, but I expected that. Now I only have to use my heavy vacuum once I month. This is one of the best items I have bought and am very happy with it.

UPDATE: I can't say enough about this amazing vacuum. It cleans like no other vacuum I have ever owned. I didn't realize how dirty my home was. This is still getting hair and dirt it thought would be gone by now. This truly is the best investment I have made in ages. Bruce and I are destined to be together forever! He always finds his dock and has so far never been lost or stuck. Empties and goes on about his business cleaning. SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT!Super easy to set up. I was concerned as Bruce seemed to wander a lot on his initial travels to check my house. First time I ran Bruce he did great. Really pulls up the deep down dirt! Cleaning lady was here Wednesday and Friday it had to empty once to finish. So it is getting deep cleaning done. Easy to empty tank and easy to clean filters. The initial meeting of my cat and Bruce under the bed was quite humorous. She growled and I heard whisking noises and here comes Bruce with the cat right behind him 😳. Very pleased with my purchase.

I thought I liked the shark iq, then I got this and was blown away by how much better it is at cleaning, not getting stuck, and finding its way around the house without bumping into everything. The only drawback is it is a little taller so it doesn't fit under my furniture (the shark iq could).

You had me at "Alexa". Having the ability to put the Shark RV2502AE AI Robot Vacuum into an Alexa morning wakeup routine is simply GENIUS! Every morning, Jarvis launches at 7am and does his rounds, leaving me with a spotless floor to start the day off with. Yes, Jarvis has upset the dog a bit as it bumps into him occasionally. Unlike Walter, the cat in the Chevy Tahoe commercial, my dog doesn't do chores so Jarvis gets the nod if he bumps into the dog. The suction is seemingly strong, leaving our hardwood floors spotless. The room mapping is well-designed and simple to understand. I like how I can tell Alexa to have Jarvis clean high traffic areas, taking about 15 minutes to complete. The wheels seem to have an offroad capability when they encounter a thresh hold or carpet transition, climbing over it with ease. Watch out for floor registers as Jarvis thinks it is a cavern that he does not want to fall into. All in all, this is a great investment in HEPA filtration and a cleaner floor. We love it!

I don't know how we lived without this. It does a great job, and we have 3 large dogs who go in and out (bringing a lot of the outdoors indoors) and shed a LOT.

If you are hesitating to purchase this, don’t! I’ve been eyeballing robotic vacuums for years and finally decided to purchase this one after reading many reviews on all that are out there. This mapped my house accurately in less than 30 mins and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. It is super quiet, returns To the dock flawlessly to empty, then returns right to where it left off. It makes perfect vacuum rows in my carpeting and even when the house isn’t super clean, running this gives me a sense of cleanliness and oddly, accomplishment! I have a German Shepherd that sheds year-round and I’ve had no problems with it picking up his hair or clogging. I empty the storage bin about once per week or maybe twice, but it’s totally worth it to me. The only reason for -1 star on suction is simply comparing it to an upright vacuum… it’s definitely not as good but still impresses me!
