Nice for skipping a day of busting out the vac

We vacuum(Ed) every single day because of dog and cat fur but thanks to Sam (what we named it) we no longer have to! Sam is crest for getting clumps of hair and small crumbs. It lets us have a day off of vacuuming but with that being said it is not a deep clean and does not eliminate the need to use a normal vacuum still.Pros: runs while no one is home, there is an app, charge is enough to get the main parts of the house (1.75-2 hour charge).Cons: no rhyme or reason to the path it takes so some gets missed, no mapping, the app can only start and stop or tell you it’s stuck.

My house stays so clean with almost no effort!

I fall in love with my Roomba more every time I use it. I got this as a house warming gift when I bought a house with hardwood floors after living in a tiny apartment. Hardwood shows every crumb so I run the Roomba (I named him Rumi) about every other day and it keeps my house cleaner than if I had my drag out my vacuum and clean my whole house once a week (because I don’t have time to do it more). I have hardwood and some rugs and it does a great job on both. Some reviews complained about needing to walk around and pick up items before it runs but I would have to do with regular vacuuming so I don’t care. I just do a 3 minute walk around to move any cords or shoe laces off the floor and frankly it helps keep my house more picked up anyway! I love that it vacuums under the beds and couches, places where dust bunnies traditionally accumulate. Here are some cons: it kind of just randomly wanders around so it takes about an hour to an hour and a half to do about 1500 square feet. I still don’t care and love it. Also sometimes it misses stuff but it’s pretty minor and it usually gets it the next time so I still don’t care and love it. It gets stuck on my rug that has tassels in my office but that’s also ok. I still love it!

Surprisingly Effective!

Setup with the app was a breeze and I was able to integrate it with HomeKit (Siri). You just have to do a little prep and make sure you don’t leave things out that it’ll get caught or hung up on. Our LVP floors clean up really nice with this guy, and it’s awesome that you can set routines.

Fun, efficient, less loud than normal vacuum

The media could not be loaded.  Good for cat litter, dog hair, need to empty often but very easy to do, very fun to use the app to start vacuum and return home. Sometimes has trouble returning home but not a big deal to me. It goes everywhere and cleans a large space well. I took a video just to show the way it can pick up litter and scratched up cardboard from my cats. Has good suction power. Gets a lot of dust and very convenient to turn on while I do other things. Less loud than a normal vacuum but not quiet. It served its purpose for me and I have a lot of fun using it with the app and testing it out. Much better than actual vacuuming for me. :)

Excellent robot vaccum with some slight annoyances

Overall considering the price am very happy with my iRobot purchase.Likes:- Very good vacuuming and suction over various surfaces- Excellent battery charge. It lasts at least an hour- Powerful and speedy motor. It definitely runs faster than its rivals that I have owned before- Overall pretty well made. Dropped it a couple of times with no issuesDislikes:- It sometimes can get confused and vacuum the same area multiple times. Sometimes stairs confuses it enough to require attention. On the other hand it keeps trying to vacuum areas that are blocked off. However, these are mere annoyances- Some parts like the dust bin door are flimsy and can break. Be careful when opening the dust bin door to empty it. Slightly bend it from the middle to release the door- Dust bin could be bigger. Keep an eye on it as if it gets full, this iRobot may not vacuum as well

Wow!

I’ve owned a few different brand named robot vacs in the past but this one is by far the best one! First of all, very easy to clean all the brushes and dump out the dust reservoir. I shed a lot of hair and it gets caught in the main brush but when it comes down to cleaning it, the mechanism pops out easy and I can remove all the caught hair. The robot is very efficient and thorough, it is slightly elevated and can sorta “climb” things? Due to this detail, it means it can get stuck in things but also has an advantage of being able to vacuum thicker rugs around your home and climb over doorways that may have a bump. The battery life is also insane! All in all, the Highest Standard for robot vacs. Get it!!!

I love my iRobot!!!

We bought a roomba about a year ago after holding off for a long time. I had heard that they were noisy and weren’t very effective. I was so wrong! We run our robot every day in the middle of the night, and it has changed our lives. Our apartment is so much less dusty, and our newly adopted cat has not triggered our allergies, much of which I attribute to our little robot. Every house should have one of these. Ours is one of the least expensive and it is amazing.

completely happy

I never expected this to replace my upright DYSON 'Animal' but I'm impressed with its performance from day 1. In the early uses the small size of the dust collector becomes evident but not because my upright wasn't doing the job, but because RoomBa was going under and behind things I haven't moved in YEARS! I've already found the 'full basket' to become less of an issue each use as fewer 'never been seen in recent times areas' like under heavy furniture, are discovered. My only 'less than 100%' is that my run time b4 it runs home seems a good bit below the specs BUT I suspect the run time can be diminished the more times it changes direction and I do have a floor layout that can find it bound up for several minutes . . . I get around 100 minutes <your home may not even need THIS long> p.s. my 'hair rating reflects Mrs and I have short hair, no dogs or cats. I doubt this would be happy with a long haired dog or cat!

Roomba is not super bright, but a must have for any husky household!!!

The media could not be loaded.  I never thought I'd be one to buy a robotic vacuum, but here I am. I love cleaning. It relieves stress and anxiety for me. Yet I bought this roomba to help me manage keeping the floors swept. I have a white husky and between March - mid November he is shedding and my house looks like it snowed inside.I would find myself vacuuming at least once a day. I got this roomba on prime day and man has it changed my life. This roomba isnt super bright or smart, but for the price I paid I'm happy with what I got. It randomly vacuums around my home sucking up all that dog hair. It gets stuck often and I have to empty the small dirt collection tray at least once a vacuum session, which is fine as it still saves me time. The roomba is faily loud but quieter than the average vacuum cleaner. I set it to vacuum in the am before anyone wakes up and in the afternoon when I'm at work. I do love that I can check its status via the app even when I'm not at home. I can even start it or stop it.Overall, I love it and might even upgrade to a roomba that empties itself out in its base eventually. Right now though, I'm grateful to have the roombas help!!!!

Spinal surgical patients, Best Friend!

IRobots, especially Roomba’s; Amazing! Finds dirt, hair, debris, everywhere. Wish it could dust! 😂 I have experienced, nothing but positive with this product. I’m an elder & have had 3. I have labradors that leave pools of water everywhere, roomba seems to have, lab traits, as it gravitates toward the water; not, good for their motor. It’s up to owner to find the water & drop a towel to mop up, pre vacuuming. It’s also up to owner, to clean out hair from brushes & front lil wheel, before each cleaning, or, periodically, during a whole house cleaning. Roomba is a valued member of our Family. He has a name, but, it’s classified & not for public knowledge; his predecessors were Reginald & Junior. Do yourself a favor & get quality & dependability.
