However, I am not a fan of the plastic lid because of course, I pour really hot coffee into my mug. I would love an alternative stainless steel lid option like the stainless steel wide mouth flex cap I purchased for my water bottle.

I absolutely love this mug from the size, feel of the soft exterior, design (i got the sea salt limited edition), and ability to stay hot or cold for the majority of the day. The only problem i have (small female) is taking the lid apart to wash. I can not pop the sliding piece off, no matter how much or what i try; it's extremely difficult to remove. I'd like to purchase another, but won't because of this, or until it's been modified. Otherwise, this mug gets 5 stars from me!
