I loved the look of this belt when I received it. The ratcheting mechanism works well and the look is very nice. Unfortunately, it has a flaw in that it the material on the buckling area can be easily scratched and marred. This happened to mine during the first wearing. I still continue to wear it in the hopes that the scratch on mine isn't too apparent (anyone looking too closely at my waist and crotch probably have other issues). Otherwise, I think this is a great product.

A nice looking belt. Easy to adjust & latch, but difficult to unlatch. I recently bought my husband another ratchet belt (another brand). He likes it much better because it is not at all difficult to unlatch to remove.

El cinturón no es de cuero y el sistema de apertura es un poco digamos, complicado.

I like this belt, a lot. It holds, and as my day goes on, I can tighten it as needed. The track system is a brilliant design, like a cog railway around my waist. The release mechanism is really smart. There is one flaw and it has nothing to do with the mechanical design, it's the paint job. After 5 months the paint is wearing off. It's smooth metal and any cheap paint will rub off over time, but after 4-5 months? I got the bigger size and cut the belt down to 46 as I am a hefty 44x32 waist. My belly hangs over and I sweat a lot, so that may be why the paint has rubbed off. Moisture got into it and it came off over time. I'm going to have to sandblast it and then repaint it with POR-15, then it should be good. Hopefully the CM (Chinese Manufacturer) that makes Marino's products can find a better quality paint that won't wear off. I'll continue to wear the belt, but I won't be wearing it to any dinner parties or nice job functions looking like this, (unless my belly covers it, LOL). Perhaps consider using paint fit for an exhaust manifold and not the cheapest thing you can lay your hands on. As someone who does QA for a living for a company that makes products in China, I know that if you press the CM they will make things right, but if you don't they'll find the cheapest method to do something. Call these guys and tell them you want a better paint job. Sad that manufacturers can't do a better job on QA at the factory and are ok with this kind of crap. But I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, perhaps they read this review and do something about it. For anyone prospecting to buy this, I wouldn't hesitate to get it, it's a great product, just be aware of the crappy paint job. If you wear it every now and then, it'll probably be ok, but if you are a big fellow like me, 6'4" 330lbs, and it's your daily driver, be wary that after 3 months you'll have to replace it.

It's a nice looking belt but off the bat you have to put it together so you can customize the size, I've never had a DIY belt before. It went together easy enough, but the leather isn't supple, it feels like it's fake and a bit on the cheap side. I don't think I would buy another one, and because I've already customized the size taking off 6" of it I can't return it.

First impressions are It's a very nice belt. It just got here so I haven't worn it but my experience with this type of outer and inner material, is it will ware quickly, I will update in 6 month if I am wrong. My biggest issue with the belt is the width the picture makes look a lot wider then is actually is, It barley measures over on inch. If this belt was 1.5 even with the feel of the material it would have been five stars.

Fits great when it’s not broke

The belt and buckle are nice but I ordered two separate belts and the belts are good but where I had to drop two stars is the buckle. Both sets which I bought were nothing similar in terms of what was pictured. I should’ve received silver buckles but instead received dark gray almost black colored buckle and not super pleased with it. Other than that if you can get the correct colors when you order they’re worth or.
