!st time I've tried a ratchet belt and it's good

I have a couple of other similar belts and needed the darker brown (Mahogony) and so I got this belt. I do like the general quality of the belt. The only nitpick that I have compared to the other ones (Mission Belt) I have was that I feel like the buckle and release mechanism are not as solid and the little knob thing is more loose. Hasn't impacted performance, but it's something I'm monitoring.

Color is very nice and the ratcheting system, while a little noisy, holds very well. Cutting it down to size was easy but attaching the buckle requires some effort. Hopefully, that means it's securely latched on. The width is a little smaller than most belts I've purchased but it looks good. Leather quality feels premium and the buckle pattern isn't a sticker like I've seen on some belts. Packaging was nice and I appreciated the manufacturing and sourcing background. Will certainly come back to this brand when my other belts wear out.

Update: The crafting of the buckle and the belt are of the highest workmanship. I initially gave this belt a 1 star because I could not get the belt off. After playing with the belt, if the gear has too much pressure on the latch, the latch will not release. It is pretty simple to push the belt physically towards the buckle to release the pressure and the belt will release easily. Marino could add instructions to make this clear if it ends up being a problem. Otherwise, this is a very nice belt. It is quite useful to have adjustments to 1/4 inch (roughly).

I like the end product but I could have used a little clearer instructions as to adjusting for desired size. Color as described (brown) and material seems to be good quality (I’ve only worn it a few times). Of course I would have preferred it was made in USA (and would have paid more if necessary.) I would buy again.

I was intrigued by the description of a belt with a ratchet function. I was really pleasantly surprised at how well that worked. The belt is definitely adjustable but not as much so as the description might make you think. The belt has to be physically cut to length and then the buckle put on. It is sometimes a little tricky to get the buckle to release. Practice helps.

This belt is exactly what i had been looking for in terms of adjustment as needed. The directions for sizing zre clear and simple to follow. The ratchet system allows for exact adjustment while wearing. The only comment I had is tath the release on the buckle is a bit tricky until you realize that you have to take tension off the belt to get it to function, and it's located underneath the buckle making it a bit difficult to use. If it were not for that I would say this is a five star belt. I do intend to order a casual one as well. Great product overall.

This product was well put together. It seems to be durable so far. It has lived up to my expectations.

Belt is very nice i like how the belt ratchets together. The stitch in the belt does not seem like it will hold up very and the belt is easily scratched. It looks great and idoes the job holding your pants up.

I like how it is so easy to cut to size and assemble the buckle. I have a little problem with small ratchet release lever and getting the buckle to release without some small effort. I don’t consider it a major issue but it is why 4 stars vs. 5. My own personal preference would be for the belt to be 1/8 - 1/4” wider than it is. Bottom line, I would recommend this product.
