Ratchet belts are the best things ever invented! It’s so easy to put on and takeoff and it still looks like a normal belt that can be worn with anything. My only complaint about this belt is that I wish it was a little more sturdy. If you ever get used to a sturdy belt it’ll change your perspective on flimsy belts forever. Otherwise this is a great product for the price! Ill also say that the packaging really surprised me. Really great quality branding and it even came with a key ring holder that I use to this day.

Quality leather belt. Love the ratcheting mechanism and haven't had any issues with the release. One recommendation however, DON'T CUT THE BELT. Following the instructions, I cut the belt to the size marked on the inside of the waistband. It still ratchets on and holds up some pants, however it now looks like I'm wearing a childs belt. If you do need to cut it, I strongly recommend going 3-4 sizes too big to get the appropriate length. Otherwise, this is a very nice belt so far (had it less than a week) and I like the design. Edit: They replaced the belt. I gave to other to a friend for his son. Decent customer service, but still wondering how they got my phone number...

While I prefer a slightly wider and denser belt, this product is elegant and sharp at the same time... the textured buckle and leather are a modern add to casual or work dress. The packaging was quite impressive a hardened gift box and well laid out display of the product inside... high grades as it would come across as a high end gift for office mates, wedding party, etc.... (and the flexible sizing will not insult anyone.)

The only complaint is the release for the ratchet sticks a little sometimes Small knock thought it’s very well crafted and has yet to show signs of wear despite daily use

I've only worn this belt 2 days but have a lot of trouble with the ratchet just coming undone and it loosening on it's own. It is very well made but doesn't appear to work as it should. I am having to readjust it several times a day. It's irritating! UPDATE-- Marino sent me a new belt with a buckle that was not defective and this belt appears to work well. After wearing it for several days it does not loosen like the other one. I should say that the latch still may rub against my pants, but since it is properly tensioned it does not disconnect like the first buckle did. It has disconnected a couple of times over several days but is much better than the first buckle.

I have bought this belt twice. The first one I bought lasted about 6 months. I wear it everyday for work so I definitely make it work hard. The only complaint I had was the interior of the belt kept ripping the backing from the teeth of the buckle. I kept cutting and resetting it until it is too tight. I bought the second one and the wrong size was delivered but they were amazing how fast the got the replacement sent out.

I like this belt.... the weight is good... the packaging was wonderful.. It fits and stays put.. if it starts to come loose.. just cut a little off so it will bite nicely again....

It's a beautiful belt! Appears to be absolute top quality. My man loves it as he is now able to get rid of the hated suspenders. The one thing that he wishes was that it was a little easier to release. You sort of have to plan waaayyy ahead. I bought him the first one in black. Despite the release difficulties, he likes it well enough so that I'll probably still buy him one in brown. Not looking at any other brands as we know what we have with this one. Bought this belt for myself to test out the quality before buying one for my father for fathers day. While I am immensely happy with my purchase for myself, I am weary of purchasing it with the purpose of using it as a gift. The material feels amazing, the mechanism works perfectly and it looks awesome. How ever there is one small section where it looks like it jumped a stitch. While I don't care about this for myself, as it is on the inside it still makes me think twice about purchasing it with the intention of giving it away. That being said, I am not certain if this would be a common issue, the material itself feels like its a good quality material so to see a manufacturing defect like this is partially concerning.

Let me start by saying I love these ratchet style belts. I made my most recent purchase of this belt after the first one I owned snapped. Not really the belts fault. It was pretty old and while the quality is pretty darn good, it was starting to show some wear/cracks. I got a lot of use out of that belt for the price. That being said, the reason it finally snapped was I had my dogs leash attached to it when she bolted after some birds. The day it snapped, I ordered another because I just love the adjustability. Unfortunately in my haste to order, I ordered a belt that was thinner than my original, and I like a wide belt. Other than that, it's great.
