Great coverage all around!

Needed something to fix the weak Wi-Fi connection on the other side of my house. This extender did the trick and connecting to it was simple.I first set it up using WPS and it took about a good minute to connect to my router. I then disconnected it from my router and set it up by connecting my phone to the extender itself. Once I was connected to the extender, it took me through the steps to manually connect to my Wi-Fi network. In the end, I was able to connect with no issues.I setup the extender for roaming so when we are further from the main router, this unit can take over. I took two speed tests and snapshotted them for reference. The higher speed is when I am closer to my router and the other when I am closer to the extender. Yes, I'm losing out on some speed but that's better than no connection which I was having before setting this product up.

Easy setup, can be either wireless extender or wired AP extender, supports Dual-Band

The media could not be loaded. Simple setup- Plug it in and follow the instructions- Setup as either wireless extender or wired AP- Use either WPS or browser setupSupports dual-band networks- 2.4 GHz- 5 GHzMy network does not support WPS, so I used the browser setup. It was very easy.I have set up several different WiFi extenders from Amazon and this by far was the easiest using the browser setup.Cost at time of review $126.99Overall, a simple way to extend your wifi range.

Easy Setup with WPS

This wifi extender is easy to setup with WPS and helps to extend the range in harder to reach places. It attaches to your existing signal and strengthens it so you still need to put it in an area that has a reliable WiFi signal otherwise it will not work as expected. The overall signal boost is really good, it also has an ethernet port on the bottom for which you can then connect a hub if you're using this inside of your home office which is nice and effective. One feature that I wish it had from the ethernet port would have been a PoE port instead of just a gigabit ethernet port but that's honestly just a nice to have. It's a decent value for the money and if you're struggling to get wifi coverage into certain areas of your home this is a great plugin option.

Repeater Works Very Well

I have a finished basement and wanted better wifi coverage when we are in the basement, so I picked up this Linsys repeater. I am familiar with the brand having had several Linksys products in the past so I expected this repeater/extender to work well, and it did not disappoint. It took me 5 minutes after plugging in the repeater to get set up and linked to my main wifi router. I wish all technology was this easy. As for performance, when my phone hops on the repeater in the basement, I do not see any degradation in performance. While I have not run any speed test yet, I am certain I am attaining the advertised speed. I also have a 65" TV in the basement and use the Roku service which I now connect through the repeater and streaming is smooth without any issues. Overall I am very satisfied with this wifi repeater/range extender.

Arrived as scheduled.

Nice wifi range extender. Set up using WPS is straightforward and easy. Handles dual band without issue. If using a non linksys wireless router the SSID will have a .ext extension and devices have to connect to that ext wireless signal to extend the range, if using a linksys router the devices connect automatically to the extender. Overall a great wireless extender that covers a large area.

Fast

This Wi-Fi extender was very easy to set up. The Wi-Fi speed increased significantly. The build quality is made nicely. And it’s all white so it looks very nice attached near the desk.

Best range extender I've used!

I live in a very rural area and have less than 1 bar of cell service. I work in my shop quite often that is about 20 yards from my router. I've been using an older range extender that does help me be able to watch how to videos from my shop but it's a fairly weak signal. I decided to try the new Linksys extender as it has much more range than my 12yo model. Set up was extremely easy. I won't go into detail as many have already posted step by step but it easy to do for people with the most basic of tech knowledge. Once I got it set up, I absolutely love the extended range on this!! I'm getting full WIFI now!! Absolutely worth the cost of the unit!

Worked well for me, no setup issues

I placed this in my home office which is on the very edge of my home. Wifi signal is fine, but can dip in some cases. Setup for me went fairly easily as I already have a Linksys router that supports WPS. It did take a couple tries but I had it all setup in under 30 minutes. The wifi signal in my office is strong now and I do not see the dips I used to. Others have pointed out that in some cases you may need to hardwire to the extender to configure it for non WPS or non Linksys routers. Unfortunately I can't speak to that myself but it would be something to be aware of. However, once connected it has been working great for me and does what I need it to do. Have had no disconnects to speed drop off issues since installing.

Easy set up and works well...

I got this to extend the Wifi to the basement since the router is on the top floor and the signal in the basement was inconsistent. It was very easy to set up and works well. Now the connection on the smart TV in the basement is perfect.

A more premium wifi extender

I've been using wifi extenders to repeat the signal from a mobile hotspot device that runs on cellular data. It's basically a necessity if we want to have wifi outside of the room that it's in. A lot of cheaper wifi extenders have either stopped working after a few months or would need manually rebooted daily. This Linksys wifi extender is more expensive than any I've tried, so hopefully it should hold up better.I set it up using the web interface since the mobile hotspot has no WPS or ethernet connectors. It was fairly straightforward and painless to set up and the process was rather intuitive for me. The wifi coverage has been excellent extending from the front of the house to the back. The build quality of the device feels pretty solid.A bonus feature here is that the extender can use wifi 6. I don't have any devices that use that protocol currently, though.
