Broke in 10 minutes. Very disappointed kid. The only thing he asked Santa for was a wand- would have done better handing him a stick from the front yard.

We had this for two months and it was just plain boring, not to mention by time we actually we're able to ,finally ,connect after troubleshooting twice. Of course now we cannot return it.

If you get this for your son or daughter they are going to light up with joy until they start using it. This brainwashing product will only bore your kids with lifeless coding. I remember having to do this in school and I almost died from not using my brain cells. This will not teacher your children anything and they will only become more addicted to their electronics (if they even use this product)

I would give this product zero stars if I could. I bought it for my daughter for her birthday only to discover it won't work with our tablet. And since I bought it months ago, I cannot return it. Now I have a disappointed kid with no birthday present. Thanks for nothing, Kano!

Wand does not work with a current gen android tablet. Was told by support that if it's not a problem with the wand there's nothing they can do and to "Use another compatible device". My device is listed as compatible on their website. Awful technical support and customer service, do not purchase if you aren't comfortable gambling on whether it will work or not.

Seems like a very cool product and my daughter, who is a HUGE Harry Potter fan, was excited to use it but unfortunately it was broken out of the box and wouldn't turn on. We contacted customer support but because it was a gift they said they couldn't help. I provided images of the UPC & S/N and the brand new packaging but they still wouldn't help. If giving as a gift beware they will not stand by broken products.

This product shorted out and burned my 9 year old son as he attempted to build it. This was not user error - he built it exactly as instructed. It got so hot it burned him and was so hot I nearly burned myself getting the batteries out. Beware. Don’t buy this unless you want to burn your house down.

Firstly, be aware that you need a tablet or laptop with Bluetooth for this to work - a phone won't cut it. I don't think anyone has ever tested this software - it took two adults over 30 minutes to simply get the wand paired and the app running. Constant crashes and black screens make using the app challenging, and not in the way it should be. A shame - excellent idea, poorly executed.

Didn't work with our Lenovo tab 4 10.1" running 8.1.0. Got it to register/connect with an old Kindle, but then the app gave us constant blank screens where we had to close and reopen the app. Expected this from a $10 item, not a $100 one. Ridiculous. Check all the bad reviews elsewhere on the web before purchasing. This is a product to help learn about programming when it is super buggy itself. They should have spent more on development rather than the fancy packaging it came in

This and other Kano products are nice ideas but the company has not worked out the kinks and so their products have flaws. they do have fast customer support but it is effectively to return the product if it doesn't work. This one has poor app support, see other reviews. The Pixel has a poorly constructed board so parts will break off easily. This will excite then quickly disappoint your child so I recommend waiting till they get their act together.
