Alot of trouble connecting to the computer with this product. Disconnects alot also. Not recommended really. Way overpriced too. Not good value for the money.

Got this for 13 year old boy who is a huge Harry Potter fan and has gone to coding camp and had a good time twice. He only opened the box and played with the wand by itself for about 5 mins.

Because of the way this item uses energy, it should have been designed to be USB rechargeable. It goes through batteries in a matter of days if not completely shut down, which is difficult to do, and difficult for a kid to remember to do. We were so excited about this product.

Bought this for my grandson to use with his Chrome OS. This coding wand requires a Kano app and unfortunately we did not find out until after the return window expired that there isn’t an app available for the Chrome OS.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It says it works with her Fire HD8 tablet but the app sucks!!! The wand constantly is losing connection. My daughter can't even get 2 minutes of play in on it because the app freezes or the wand loses connection. WASTE OF MONEY!

I could not get this to work on either of our tablets. I tried our neighbors ipad and couldn't get it to work either. I must have one that is defective. I got this for the coding aspect and for a challenge for my five year old.

I do not know if it changed since I ordered mine before christmas or if I failed to notice that it said HD8+ but I was quite irritated to see that my Fire 7 could not get the app for this, my kids $90 toy became a $200 toy since I needed a new tablet to use it. 1 Star rating is ONLY due to lack of app for common model device, Second star is because the book was written well for wand assembly for my (newly reading) 8 year old to use, and the product seems good quality, just cannot review for actual coding or app yet.

My daughter received this as a gift and was super excited. An hour later, that had turned to extreme frustration. You need to complete each “challenge” in order to unlock the next. About 4 challenges in, we encountered a bug that is keeping us from going any further. I’ve recreated this bug on a second iPad that’s running a different version of iOS. So now this is sitting on a shelf collecting dust. In short, this is a fantastic idea for a product that is terribly executed. I will update this review after hearing back from customer service.
