[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OXO Good Grips Salad Spinner I'm a big fan of. It shipped well with zero . I appreciate the packaging to get rid of was minimal. It emitted no weird odors or alarming chemical like smells. It is generous in size (Bowl capacity is 6.22 qt/5.89 L; basket capacity is 4.95 qt/4.68 L) I can hold a full head of lettuce with room to spare. It has three parts which are the main outer bowl, the inner spinning basket/colander, and the upper lid. The bottom bowl is crystal clear. There are no scratches or distortion to speak of. I like I can use this bowl not just to contain water from what I've dried off but as a serving bowl for salad during our meals. The spinner mechanism with non-slip knob with built in break is so easy to use. I have had other spinning bowls before in which you would crank. This plunge/push down style of this is far preferred. I never have aching hands or arms in using this. It is so easy that even my younger children can help out with it. It doesn't take up a ton of space in my cabinets. I like you can lock the knob in place so it's not up but down instead. I have washed this by hand and in the dishwasher. It is holding up well with no spots or other signs of wear. I am very pleased with the quality and ease of use and highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love this spinner. It is larger than most, so a I can make salad for company without doing multiple batches. The outer bowl makes a good salad bowl when I have guests. This spinner does not require me to continually hand crank it. Just press down on the pump and away it goes, while you do other things. If you need to stop the spinning, there is a button to push to make it stop quickly. It comes apart easily to wash, and then the parts go back together with a lock to keep the pump flat and level with the top. I am impressed with the thought that went into this product.

I had a smaller salad spinner that broke and was searching for one with better construction. This spinner works very easily and comes apart easily for cleaning the spinning mechanism. It is large in size and I probably could have gone with the smaller spinner, but am very happy with this purchase. I usually clean my greens and store them right in the spinner. They keep for days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have looked at these salad spinners forever but figured I'd never get enough use out of one. Well this summer I planted lots of veggies and knew I'd need a better way of cleaning them. Enter the salad spinner! I used it for all my veggies, not just lettuces. I'd load up the inner basket, wash everything off and then plop it into the spinner. A few spins later and they were ready to be stored in the frig. It works well for fruits too. Of course my GD loves to help push the button and make it spin, the nonslip bottom means I don't have to worry about her pushing it off the counter. I also really appreciate that the push button locks down which makes it easier to store.
