I received this as a wedding gift from our registry. I've already used it several times and I have to say that it sure beats trying to dry lettuce with paper towels... I do recommend giving it a few pumps and letting it spin, then dump out the water from the bottom and pump and let it run again for optimal drying... I've found that this method works pretty well.

I like the nice large bowl for drying greens out of our garden. The outside bowl doubles well for a serving bowl to save dishes. Like the handle-down and stop-spinning design. It is cumbersome to store, but I think most salad spinners would be.

I've tried the cheaper generic brand before on a salad spinner, and after it broke I bought this one. I think it is well worth it to just spend the money and get the OXO brand -- smooth, balanced spinning!

I use this all the time. It is really great in the summer for getting the grit off my garden-fresh greens. Love it!

It has the largest capacity of any salad spinner on the market, and I looked at them all. It cleans up easy and bits of greens do not get stuck in the spinner. I would buy this again and I recommend it to any one looking for a quality salad spinner.
