I ordered this Vacuum and was really looking forward to using it especially since I have indoor dogs and I was in need of a good Vacuum for the pet hair and reading the reviews it seemed like a good Vacuum and the price was even better, so in July of 2022 I made the purchase. When I received the package it was simple and ez to assemble which was perfect to charge it was even easier just pop it on the charger and walk away, the Vacuum has two modes one for carpet and the other for hardwood floors, since I don't have carpet in my house I mainly use it for hardwood flooring and to be honest I've tried both modes and they both work good. Fast forward to November 2022 and my shark vacuum stopped working, it made a weird noise and the spinning brush stopped spinning so I called Amazon because I also ordered the extra insurance and I was told that I have to go through Shark since its still under the manufacturer warranty. So I called Shark and they took all the information from me and they did send me a replacement vacuum..oh they did charge me a shipping fee of $15.00 dollars so I paid the fee and in a few days time I had my replacement. I wish I could have stopped writing my review but unfortunately it happened again, now its March 2023 and low and behold the shark Vacuum did the exact same thing as the original one, again I call Shark and they do the video call again take all the information from me and again send me another replacement, and again they were going to charge me another shipping fee until I protested the charge, I said the first time I was reluctant to pay but nevertheless did pay, I dont feel I should pay again for a defective machine that you sent me, and the representative was extremely helpful and understanding and agreed and waived the fee.So now I am on my 3rd Shark Vacuum and if thing are a pattern then in 4 months from now I could be calling Shark back for another replacement because it seems the life span of this particular model is only good for 4 months.I have to say my conversations with the representatives from Shark they were perfessional and courteous and help me to their fullest extent and I'm very appreciative of that, I had a problem and they found a solution in both instances

So it’s nice to have a cordless vacuum. It’s super convenient for light cleaning and I’m glad I own it. Also, it pretty lol.All this vacuum does is lightly vacuum carpet or floors. That’s all I need. It’s not going to be a workhorse for rugs or wall to wall carpeting. It won’t get sand that’s settled down. Also, you’ll need a handheld with a nozzle for baseboards and crevices etc. The handle is just a handle. It doesn’t turn into a nozzle like on a lot of vacuums.Charging: this is what I wish I knew prior to purchase. I didn’t read how it charges because it never occurred to me that an appliance could be like this. It has a charging base. You don’t just plug it in. You plug in the base and then have to set the vacuum on the base. The reason I mention this, if you’re like me and have zero space in a very tiny unit, it’s a problem to keep all that stuff around. I almost threw the charging base away before realizing. I thought the changing base base was a hanger thingy.Nice as this vacuum is, I probably would have skipped it if I knew charging was going to add supplies that I’d have to keep track of and set up every time I need to change it.
