I was on the fence about a cordless vacuum, regardless of the brand. Years ago I had a cordless broom and a handheld vac, both of which were junk because they couldn't hold a charge. I'm so glad I bought this Shark. My lab mix sheds terribly year round, leaving his love with every step he takes. The suction on this vac is amazing with dog hair and anything else within several inches of it on my laminate, carpet and area rugs. With it standing up on its own is also a plus. That doesn't sound like much to love but if you've ever had one that doesn't and it falls, it could cause profanity, not to mention possibility damaging to vac. Folks complain about how long the battery doesn't last but, it's like a lot of things...walking, driving, cleaning, we can go slow or we can go fast. Get it done and over with. Many have their own theory about when to charge it, I say run it down completely and fully charge for the next time. I bought this vac a week ago and have used it everyday. I'll update after having it a few months. Hopefully I'll be as happy with it as I am today.

I am in a wheelchair and cords are a pain to me. I am constantly getting them tangled up in my wheels and it usually isn't easy to get untangled. ..and then, there is the cord damage!Which, is what prompted this purchase. I don't equate battery powered with power, but don't make the same mistake I did! This is amazing and awesome! I got it early Aug 2022. My corded vacuum is a good one, but I can follow up with this little baby and the canister still will be full of fine dirt! And hair! Both my own and my little Yorkie's hair. And, there is very little wrapped around the roller. Before, I hated vacuuming and didn't do it as often as I should. Now, I vacuum nearly every day. Claire gets done eating her treats and there are crumbles left on floor? Whip out the cordless vacuum! Empty shredder and have little paper bits every where? Whip out the cordless vacuum! Company track in dirt or leaves? Whip out the cordless vacuum!I was amazed at how long I can use this without having to charge it again! This does everything it says it will and I couldn't be more thrilled!

As a single guy living in a huge house, vacuuming is literally the last thing I want to be doing. When I was a kid my parents would force me to vacuum and use these gigantic behemoths that were equivalent of lugging a suitcase around the house, with cords that took ages to unravel. It's 2022 and going cordless is an absolute must. I don't understand how anybody can vacuum with a cable anymore, just the mental agony of having to figure out where to plug in the cable, dodging the cable, watching it get tangled up as you go around the sofa, is an ordeal I never want to go through again. Also, vacuums must be light so you can operate it with one hand. This vacuum is basically the perfect weight balancing suction power, battery life, and portability. As for COST - I'm not trying to spend a fortune on a vacuum cleaner ok? The price was more than reasonable at ~$140. It's true that I could have gone cheap cheap and bought an <$80 vacuum, but those usually have much less suction power. I had one of those from amazon which was highly rated, but it was not able to pickup my dog's hair from the carpet AT ALL.This thing makes it a joy to vacuum, converting me from someone who absolutely despises vacuuming, to now where I actively look for places in my house to vacuum so that I can enjoy the sweet sweet delight of cleaning up some dust.

I bought this vacuum 7 months ago when I moved into a house with 3 floors. I have an excellent upright, but it is heavy and I couldn't imagine lugging it between three stories to clean. I LOVE this vacuum, so much so that I vacuum more often than ever before because it is so effective and easy! While it is not a perfect vacuum it is pretty close:PROS; - Light weight, I can easily carry it up and down stairs, and it's light enough my 13 month old can push it- Great suction, I am always amazed at the amount of dirt is in the canister after a few minutes of use (it picks up all sorts of pet hair I can"t even see with the naked eye- Wonderful maneuverability, it has a swivel head that allows me to make turns very easily- Two settings, one for carpet with strong brush action, and one for hard floors- Long battery life, I have been able to vacuum my whole house without any decreased suction (1.5+ hours)- Easy recharging, there is a charging stand that the unit pops into and a blue light lights up when it is on the charger correctly- Easy to empty canister, with a press of a button it pops out of the vacuum and with a press of another the bottom swings out, and is designed to pull the dirt out so you don't have to stick your hand in there!- Easy to take apart to clean, my mother cleaned the house and didn't empty the vacuum and it was so full it was completely blocked from sucking. I was able to take apart the whole thing, clean everything out, put it back together and get back to cleaning in 15 minutes- Size, it is very compact and easy to tuck into a corner (I have a TINY kitchen, about 8x8) and it fits easily in there, so it would be great for a small spaceCONS:- Rather small canister - I have to empty it after almost every 2 rooms, but again it is so easy to do and it is getting so much I don't even see I don't mind- On/Off button on top of vacuum head, it makes it difficult to vacuum under some pieces of furniture, so I move the furniture or my upright once a month for that- Not great along walls, it CAN get a lot of things along the wall, but pieces of dog food, little things my kids drops, etc along the wall I often have to brush away from the way for the vacuum to getAll and all I think this is a fabulous product and use it daily. No it is not perfect, but for the size, ease of use and price I think it is a great product and have recommended it to many of my friends and family. This in conjunction with a had vac (I have a Europro Operating SV780 Cordless Handheld ) for those hard to reach places should fulfill most of your usual vacuuming needs.

This is my second Shark Cordless Vacuum. The first was a Shark Navigator Cordless Vacuum, which really did a great job, but this is an upgrade. It does a fantastic job on everything, whether carpet or wood floors. Don't hesitate if you're looking for a cordless vacuum and don't be fooled by the low price. It's a fantastic product.

I love this, it makes me LOVE cleaning, I would repurchase if it ever broke. Seems well made so far, have had it for a couple months.I debated buying this, because I HATE vacuuming. I hated the way the handle had that electronic vibration and just the whole experience of it. My parents had the ones with bags and why bags that seems like the worst idea ever.My boyfriend had a bagless vacuum with a cord and its probably very old and seemed to have little sucking power. When I got this vacuum in the mail, I had just vacuumed the bedroom with the old vacuum. Took the shark in and filled it up with stuff the old one had missed.I have heard it is great for cat litter, but I do not have a cat. I have a dog who sheds like a cat, and it really helps pick up her hair.It takes a long time to charge (6-8 hours). I think it is perfect for cleaning as you go, as soon as you see you need to vacuum. It may not be great for someone who would only vacuum once every 3 or so months. I charge the vacuum when I am sleeping, and find that works great. Even if I vacuum in the morning and charge in the afternoon, I still find it works out well, I am never like oh no have to leave this mess for 6-8 hours, if I am leaving anything it is like, some dog hair on the floor, that you would not notice unless you were looking for it.We have primarily hard wood and tile flooring here, and this is perfect everywhere. I use it to vacuum the carpet in the bedroom and stairs, the tile in the living room (I know, who has tile in the living room??), tile in bathroom and office; and hardwood in the dining room, kitchen, pantry, and laundry room. I rarely need to use a broom, which is great because I do not own a full size broom and have to bend over to sweep -__-. On occasion I will use a mini hand broom to sweep counters. This is so worth the money. The filter is easy to clean, you are supposed to clean it once a month but you may be able to get away with once every two months if you flip the filter over at the end of the first month. All you have to do is rinse the filter and leave to dry on a windowsill. Took ~5 hours to dry in summer. When completely dry you can pop it back in.You may have to replace the battery at some point, but I am not sure how long approximately their batteries last. The battery is cheaper than buying a new vac. Shark also offers replacement chargers if you lose one or it gets damaged, and replacement filters. When my dog is shedding, it can fill up the cup 3 times to vacuum our master bedroom. Most of the time, though, two or three rooms can fill up one cup.

We bought a damaged box version from Amazon wearhouse; the box was very beat up, and the vacuum had a couple small cosmetic scratches but otherwise works fine. The vaccum picks up well on wood floors and low carpeting; definitely not a replacement for our corded Dyson, but WAY more convenient to use.Picks up dog hair and cereal with ease on kitchen and dining room floors. Transitions nicely from wood to carpeting (although the brush sometimes automatically will shut off on the carpet; a fast tap of the power button will kick it back on, but we haven't figured that out yet). The power dock is a great design, keeps the vacuum charged for grab and go cleaning (the SO never keeps the plug-in dust buster charged). The dust bin is large enough to hold maybe 800 sqft of dog hair and food crumbs from three kids. Battery life seems good, the vacuum remains charged for at least a 10 minute clean after meals every day.Works just as well as MIL's top of the line version at 1/4 the price.
