Far Exceeded My Expectations

This is my very first pair of wireless earbuds. I started to look into wireless because I got tired of the wire on my wired headphones fraying and breaking over time and I started hitting the gym. I decided to buy these because I watched a few YouTube reviews about them and the reviews were awesome. I've owned these earbuds for two months now and these are simply amazing. They fit perfectly in my ear and are extremely comfortable - so much so that I don't even notice they're in my ears. I do 45 minutes of cardio six days a week and these never fall out of my ear. I also sweat a ton when I'm working out and these have never had an issue. The sound quality is decent and they're not noise cancelling. These are earbuds, so I'm not expecting huge sound quality. If I wanted that, I would have bought a part of over the head headphones. Here's some brief advice. I've never had a problem with the case at all, but keep in mind that the earbuds are water resistant, but the case is not. If you wear these to work out and the earbuds are moist from your sweat, just dry your earbuds off before putting them back into the case. Typically what I do is leave the case at home. When I return home from the gym, I take my earbuds out of my ear, dry them off and leave them to sit on the table for about 10-15 minutes while I'm in the shower. Once I get out of the shower, I put the earbuds back into their case and have not had any problems whatsoever. I HIGHLY recommend this product for anyone wanting to get some wireless bluetooth earbuds.

Exceeded my expectations, that were already high!

This is a typical "I never write reviews" review, but that's because these earbuds are amazing and folks need to know! PROS: I bought these with the intent to use them to listen to yoga sessions on my iPad in order to cancel out background noise when I want to yoga in louder /public spaces. They stayed snug in my ear with the fins in ALL yoga poses, not once having to readjust them during a 30 minute session. Super win! The noise canceling is only as good as the connection with your ear (in my opinion..), and I've always had a little bit of a problem with that (I think my ears are half sizes, ha!). The quality of sound exceeded my expectations, in that I'm stoked to listen to music and audio books without feeling like I'm compromising audio quality. The price point you can't beat, really, considering other more expensive options on the market. Perhaps those are better quality, but I can't imagine in what ways. CONS: The only draw back I can find so far is that the right earbud is the main one that always has to be in use for pairing with your device. If you want to use just the left one (as I prefer to do, since that's my dominant ear) either you can use the right one in the left ear (which is a little awkward, but it works) or put the right one in your pocket (not keeping it in the case). Putting the right earbud in the left ear is working for me right now! It would be great if they could make them both work independently, but what do I know about making earbuds! In conclusion, I would absolutely buy these again in a heartbeat! 10/10 would recommend!

Sounds alright, but everything else is amazing!

I love the built in charger so much. I hate having to remember a seperate charger for everything,, and this makes it so I have one less to remember. The design is slick and sturdy, and many of my friends and family have mistaken my new earbuds for ones of a much higher demand and price. The sound is pretty good. It's not amazing, but these are $50. You definitely get what you pay for with tech, and I feel that everything else about the product more than makes it worth the price if you're fine with a cheaper sound but so much convenience. Also, because of an accident when I was younger, one of my ear holes is pretty small, and my other ear is definitely a lot larger than most peoples. Without changing the buds or the other pieces the buds come with, both earbuds fit me very well. I also love the ability to change to either earbud whenever I'd like, and how quick they connect to each other and my device. TL;DR Surprising well worth the price!

If in doubt, buy these! [UPDATED]

I read lots of reviews before buying and these headphones, being new, only had a few when I decided to bite the bullet. I have other jlab earbuds and already liked their cost/benefit ratio, but these are really something else. The earbuds are comfortable, light, and work very well. The range is good, the controls are intuitive and the charging box is quite small/handy. I liked the charging cable (although it is somewhat oddly placed) and the functionality. They get quite loud and have three different settings for the equalizer. I prefer the original "signature", but am still playing around with different types of music. For $50, these are phenomenal. ## EDIT: After a few MONTHS (Feb2019), I really love these. They're never out of battery, as they charge in the case and it's easy to see when the case needs some juice, so you're never surprised by dead earbuds. I charge mine once a week, sometimes twice. Although I have a few other BT headphones, these are the ones I use everyday for short periods (e.g. commuting, lunch, gym). Calls are ok, but only work on the right side (which is stated in the manual). The touch controls are easy and useful, and contrary to my concerns, they never fall. They are more comfortable without the silicone band -- i only wear them when running/working out, because they get loose with impact (e.g. jumping rope). Solid buy for the price.

For 59 bucks, hard to go wrong here

So far, not bad. Initially not the best sound because you have to find the right fit with the various gel inserts and the fin that fits round the perimeter of the buds. That fin can be a bit of a challenge to put on properly and I think that over time, depending on how brutal you are on these things, it can become a problem. But once you find the right fit, they appear to stay in place and they sound good. I'm in my 50s, so for someone younger they probably sound even better. The bass is a bit on the strong side, but it also depends on the music source and what specifically you are listening to. I do all in my power to take care of and keep in new condition all that I own. I would imagine that if you do the same here, these things will last for some time. Do they have all the supposed features of other buds? Probably not. But who cares. I am into simplicity. The more companies try to put too much into these things, the worse they are going to make them when it comes to longevity, battery, and overall use. UPDATE: I wore them for about 30 minutes for weightlifting, not in a gym but in my home, and they are loud, clear, stay tightly and comfortably in place, and I felt no discomfort. Remember that these things will be all about subjectivity. You may have larger ears, protruding ears, small ears, etc. As such, do not even listen to what I write nor the reviews of others. You have to try them for yourself.

Great value for the price

This is one of the best "budget" earbud products by far. Can say this with confidence after purchasing 4 pairs, 3 budget and 1 in the "middle" price range (100.00). These do everything well, and at this price point where you would expect at least 1 feature to be off, they perform all surprisingly well. Perhaps the best thing they do is pair with EVERYTHING, and quickly. When instructions are written to say, "they will pair upon opening the case", they mean it, and then some. Mine will stay paired even after back in the box. The sound stage is really noteworthy too. You get well defined low & mid bass, clear and distinct mids, and a nice high end. They fit really well too. There are probably more ergonomic ones at higher price points, but once again, we're taking under 50 bucks. The only issue I had was with the included rubber rings to pad between the bud and your ear canal - prevents it from charging if you leave it on when returning to the case. But this is minor. The case was designed well, has the attached cord to prevent forgetting it, and they slip right back in the box with a well thought out fit. With so many of the other brands trying too hard with over-emphasized highs or head pounding bass, these provide a well balanced sound, rich in all frequencies.

Reliable, not eye catching and long lasting

I've had one pair of J-Labs before this one. The sound quality is way better than any other headphone brand I've tried. Only problem I have with this is the fact that the... gold lining started to come off when my lawnmowers cupholder rubbed it the wrong way. Yeah, I'm also saying this thing can be heard over a 360° turn mower, hell, even a truck engine. These things are ultimate... I wouldn't buy another brand ever.

Put foam inserts on them and they are fantastic.

Great for small ears

I have small ear canals that bend. I've tried many high end ear buds, and have a lot of trouble finding any that fit, even trying all different sizes and types of ear bud tips. I also have trouble with wearing ear buds for any length of time as my ear canals are sensitive and the slight pressure causes headaches. These are the beat fitting ear buds I've tried, don't fall out easily during exercise, and can wear for hours before they become uncomfortable. The sound quality is just fine, too. If earbuds are hard to fit for you, give these a try!
