We are very happy with the Ring doorbell and that it syncs with Alexa. The Alexa alerts us when ever anyone is close to the front window or door. We feel much more secure.

The delay is a little slow before the video is activated. The nighttime video is OK but not great. However, overall, I am really happy with this purchase and feel more secure. I love seeing what else is going on in the neighborhood - porch thieves, people rummaging through unlocked cars, even one car theft, bobcats, and mountain lions wandering through people's yard at night (don't leave your small pets outside). Once a week, I get a report of crimes reported to the Police. I did get an alarm of motion at my front door while I was away. Unfortunately, I was in an area with poor reception with one cell, I could not view until I got into an area with better cell coverage. I've recommended to several friends. The installation was super simple and packed beautifully with everything you need, even the screwdriver. I did put one screw in by hand but drilled the other three holes with an electric drill which was much easier on my hand. I highly recommend.

I wanted to upgrade from the Ring Peephole after living in an apartment and moving into a house. Found this gem for a used price and it works like brand new! Works fantastically! I love knowing who is at my door. Cannot believe I got it for such a great price! And Ring sent me an email for a free cover so I was able to get a black cover for mine! Very happy with my purchase!

My son moved into an apartment and I was always worried about someone breaking in or worse! Since it’s apartments you can’t drill into anything or wire anything. So I bought this and the metal “safe box” for apartment residents. It is awesome!! Any movement at all, even a cat that was walking by, it pops up on his phone. And the safe box i bought to put it in is fantastic!! Nobody can remove the doorbell or mess with it. I feel so much better now.

We love the ability to see who is at the door and speak to them if necessary. So easy to use and install.

This product is a must have in every home. I feel so much secure since installing my ring doorbell. Installation was easy to figure out with the manual. I used drill bits, to drill two holes in the wall to secure the Ring door bell where my old door bell once was. This particular door bell, doesn't need a chime, it's connected with the house door. After the installation, I started receiving notification on the Ring app of who or what was out in my front door. The Ring app is very easy to use to adjust the settings of the Ring camera. I adjusted my setting to only notify, if a person is detected in the Ring to decrease excessive false motion detection notifications. I must admit that I love knowing what is going on outside my home at all times. This is one of my best purchase ever.

I’m only 2 weeks in with it but I hope it lasts longer than the ring door bell 2.

The camera is an upgrade from the ring 2.

I received the Ring Doorbell 3 as a package with an Echo Show 5 in January 2021. I have it wired into my original doorbell transformer. Up until 10 days ago it has worked flawlessly. Never missed a person and never responded to motion outside of the zone I set. The last ten days have been hectic as we prepared for my mother-in law’s 100th birthday party. The poor Ring sure was busy from early in the morning to late at night. My battery became fully discharged twice. Fortunately I have a backup battery and kept my ring alive and well. Now the party traffic is gone the Ring is back to acting normally and charging faster than the battery is discharged. I could have lowered my settings to conserve battery but decided not to because I wanted to see what the ring would tolerate. Do I recommend the Ring 3? You bet I do.

Love that we can set the area of detection with great detail. Works excellent.
