I love the tile it keeps me from ever losing my keys and phone. I’ve never thought I was ever going to need something like this but sure enough I was wrong because someone mistakenly took my keys at a family gathering. Before they went too far I already sent the ping signal and the noise alerted them I called they were able to find it in the kids jacket. It’s pretty loud and really accurate when it comes to the location. I highly recommend it.

I've veen reviewing this product for months on end and was a bit hesitant to buy initially but I'm happy to say I don't regret it. I got the combo pack to split between myself and a friend of mine who ALWAYS misplaces his wallets/keys/phones. The tile slim is perfect for a wallet and is as thick as two credit cards while the tile mate is perfect for your keys. The mate is smaller than I expected it to be - I placed it beside a bottle cap in the pic above for reference - but I actually like that, it's not bulky. I haven't had any issues with any of the features. My phone finds the tile and my tile finds my phone with ease even while on silent as advertised. I wish it rang a little louder because when the tile slim is locked up in the wallet the ring tone isn't as loud. Overall it was a good purchase and great for the forgetful people of the world.

Absolutely love these tiles and I seriously wish I got these a long time ago because I probably wouldn’t have lost my nowhere to find keys!! I’ve put these on everything from the standard keys to my AirPods & even my bed remote, there isn’t a day that goes by where I’m not using these little gems....infact I probably use them about 20 or so times a day and have probably started to depend on them a little too much😬 another cool little feature they have is you can press any tile to ping your phone which is something I use several times a day as well! If you’re someone who loses your keys or anything else you won’t go wrong with these! They work on blue tooth which I haven’t had any communication issues with!!! I’m actually probably going to be buying another set really soon to be adding them onto a few other things in our home! Love them so much wish I bought a lot sooner!

I spent one day looking for my keys for over 2 hours. Tore my car apart trying to find them. Came inside went through the whole house and still couldn't find them. I went down to the car one more time and as I was coming down the stairs noticed that they were on the roof of my car. This was the last straw. I just wasted 2 hours. I ordered this and it was so easy to set up and I am never running around looking for my keys. It also does the reverse and sends a tone to your cell phone. I have an iPhone XR and works great with it. So no more logging into the cloud to ring your phone if you lost it. Well worth the money

So my primary use for these devices is to keep track of my cats, particularly one sneaky Bengal (shown in the picture). He lights to hide inside furniture and he likes to sneak out past you if the door is open, so having a visual on him when leaving the house is a must. So far, the tile has worked great, both in finding his hiding places and locations him when he has gotten outside (luckily he doesn’t go far, but does immediately hide in bushes or under cars). I tried some cheaper knock ones, and while I really liked the size of them (the tile is really too big and poorly shaped for pet tracking) they could never stay connected lile the Tiles do (and the range is way better with the tile). So, if your pet is large enough that the Tile will fit decently on the collar, it’s a pretty good product for pets that like to dart or hide. Of course, if you have a dog that likes to run, a GPS linked device is probably better.

Ok, So this thing is the real deal! I had a recent bad experience losing a car key that cost me hundreds of dollars to replace. It was ugly! Frustrating, time-wasting, and expensive! As insurance for the new key. I bought a tile to help me find my keys or phone (app on phone works as tile) and it has worked perfectly! Although Bluetooth limits its range, if you do lose your keys/phone, you only have to revisit areas previously visited and the tile will find the keys/phone by ringing them when they come into range. As long as the battery is functioning, it will work, in my experience. It has already located the keys several times when they were misplaced in the house. And if you are really on the move, a cheap premium service allows for other connected devices to help seek and find your Tiled items as part of a network of Tile users. And other Tiles can be added any time if more items need protection. This is a great example of tech working for us!! B. O’Brien CA

I'm that person that is always saying "where's my phone?" "where are my keys"? Now, as long as I can find one or the other, I have no problems finding things. I put one tile on my keys and one on my ear buds. No longer am I asking "where's.." My husband is eternally grateful. I can't answer to battery life because I've only had them 2-1/2 months but they are still going strong and used frequently. I've never had to contact tech support. If you're like me and constantly misplacing items, I would highly recommend this product. You lose your keys, you hit a button on the app you downloaded on your phone and an alarm will go off to guide you to them. If you can't find your phone, click the button on the tile and it will lead you to your phone.

When I initially reviewed this “Tile” on February 8th, I was unhappy that it ate all my data in five hours. I still cannot figure out if it was the TILE I had or my phone app for the TILE. The manufacturer was kind enough to send me another, since I had returned the ones I had. Although now I have unlimited data, I checked it over 24 hours, leaving the TILE app ON in the background of my new iPhone. There was very limited usage and that was mostly from other apps. The ring tone to find your iPhone seems louder and better. It’s easier to hear, but it will never stop ringing its sound until you turn it off. This could potentially eat up battery life. However, now I can find my keys and my iPhone easily. It still does not hear well though walls but then it would have to be a siren. This works for finding things simply by walking around until you hear it. I still think the price is a little more than I ‘d like to pay, but it did turn out to be a good product. OLD review: This device seemed like a very cool extra to find my lost keys or wallet or iPhone. But, nowhere in the instructions or on Amazon is there any notice to SHUT OFF or SIGN OFF the Tile Mate app. Unlike other apps. this one keeps going unless you sign off or power off your device. I learned the hard way. Tile Mate used up over 4.7g of my data in six hours. I only buy 5g per month and average a 1.25g a month. When I tapped my iPhone after six hours, it gave me a Data Usage Warning, rendering my iPhone useless other than phone or text. Because I had 21 more days this month, I had to pay $30 to get my data back for this period. As far as hearing the beeping tone at 150 feet, it was disappointing. I went about 100 feet from one room to the other and could barely hear it. This was without ambient noise – totally quiet. I checked all the similar devices on Amazon and felt this was the best option. I’d be interested in knowing if other similar devices have this issue. It’s a great idea, but it needs some work – especially at the price. I returned the two Tile Mates.

I have read most of the reviews and it seems a lot of people expect to get a lot more distant in finding their keys than they,re going to get This distance depends on your Bluetooth version, and dense objects. The distance Tile Corp gives is the maximum distance possible with the most updated version of Bluetooth; and as long as their are no dense objects in its way. If you put a pair of Bluetooth headphones on and wander through your house you will get an idea of range. 33 feet is a normal distance inside a house. Only If you are connected to Bluetooth on your phone and your phone is connecting to the tile you can ring it. Since Bluetooth is a line of sight technology any dense object will stop it... Put your keys in a metal box and good luck. You do not need to run it in the background, I only run it when the wireless is on, which means it is not constantly tracking its location. Since it is not GPS it only tracks the location if the phone is connected to Bluetooth and the tile and definitely not in the airplane mode. Which means your phone battery is supplying power to Bluetooth. If you want the world or others to track your keys then keep it on. There kindness to give you one battery a year is really very little expense as you can buy 20 batteries s for 16 dollars. And you can replace the battery which is quite nice. They only send you batteries for the premium price. The noise they make is adequate but only if they are not under a bunch of clothing. I like them, they seem more reliable than the other type of key finders but only time will tell. I hope this help owners and potential buyers. The typical response by Tile is please call. They rarely ever give help in their emails. IF you are not expecting too much you will like them to...

Update 9/9/19: I have had these for about 7 months now, and i’m genuinely impressed that the batteries lasted this long - I only just replaced them for the first time. Also, Tile updated the way their Bluetooth works, so it only connects to the tile when you open the app or use the Tile to ring the phone. This is recent, but it seems to connect a lot faster now. We’ll see in the long run, but I’m even happier now with them knowing the battery lasts so long and that the company is still working on making the software better. These little gadgets are great... when they work! Because they function through Bluetooth, I find that when I’ve been physically distant from, or have not gone into the app and connected to one for a long period of time (a few days), they lose connection. More than once I have activated the app with the Tile sitting directly next to my phone and the app has been unable to find the Tile. So far, the easy fix has been restarting my phone, but that is such an inconvenience when the missing item is my keys and i’m already running late! Restarting an iPhone can easily kill precious minutes when you need them most... When the Tiles *are* working, I have found them useful in multiple situations! Of course I have one connected to my keys, because I lose them regularly. They have also proven useful for when I let my cats out in the yard. I have a Tile connected to their collars (which they do not wear 24/7. They are strictly for when the cats are outside). They tend not to want to come back inside and hide in the bushes... having the Tile lets me ring their collar and capture them. It’s also a little piece of mind knowing that if they got out of the yard, I might be able to find them with the Tile community. I would not recommend leaving them on animals constantly, especially as a GPS tracker. You need to be within 150 feet of the Tile to be able to ring it, so if your pet got away, the best it would do is *possibly* lead you to the area the animal was last located near another Tile user.
