The board is a real disappointment, doesn't lay flat, obviously mass manufactured with little quality control. Since it's not laying flat, it can't be played on.

Really bad quality. Board it’s ok , but I can't play, the pieces have defects and they are too light, they fall and fall again. Have to return

The chess board doesn’t crease properly on a flat surface,it has a lump in the middle..Doesn’t open correctly

When I received the item it’s all broken and stuff.

Didn’t receive the right pieces. Have extra bishops and no rooks. Going to be returning this and buying a real chess set.

The pieces are not weighted I would not recommend this nor is it magnetic for thirty dollars I could’ve got a whole better chess set, only thing this has is wood yippy yay... now go play without the pieces falling over so easily that’s a challenge harder than winning

The Chess Board (veneer boxes) was falling apart. I was ashamed to give this a present! Thank God , this person was very thankful for there present! I will never again order this on line!!!!

Unfortunately the set does not meet the standards of its own listing. The set was broken and some pieces are deformed. These problems did not occur during transportation but due to the cheap materials used.

Came broken. Was obviously opened, and noticed to be broken, as someone slid the wooden frame back into the box.
