Overall, it is a wonderful chess board. Unfortunately, the craftsmanship is lacking. Most noticeably where one corner had been broken and then repaired poorly. Price was more than we were looking to spend, but thought that it would be fine woodworking. Parts were fine, parts weren't fine.

Not very flat and I'm disappointed

It was what I expected..... it's serviceable.... which is fine.. and got what I paid for

This is a very nice set except for this ripple in the veneer. I’m a little disappointed in the quality.

very nice set, slightly larger board than most common size, but carving of pieces is not fabulous

Cheaply made. The board is warped and does not sit evenly when open. The squares do not line up correctly either. Playable, but annoying. Overall just ok, not worth the price.

Was an ok set but a few of the pieces hve a loose piece in it and makes a noise when move it. Bottom felt was coming off king and queens when arrived as well.

Pieces good size for old hands but took a day to sand down and put a proper finish on the wood box. I'm probably to picky.

Where the board folded, the squares were not even. Threw the whole game off.. I returned it with no trouble .
