Many customers are misunderstanding this test, considering it a test for antibodies to the covid19 virus, and thus are unhappy with the results. This is causing negative ratings. I suggest updating the description to clarify specifically that this is not an antibody test.

I bought this test for $26 at a grocery store pharmacy. I also noticed that the original sticker seals had been taped over with Scotch tape. A good test if you are sick and stuck at home worried. Negative result was confirmed by pharmacy drive-thru test a few days later.

If you're one of the reviews complaining that this doesn't show your antibodies, please educate yourself. Antigens show an active illness antibodies show something that has already fought in illness. This is great to have on hand especially if you have school kids and need to show a negative test occasionally for them to be in school.

My wife and I use these for those times we're pretty sure we're ok, but want some peace of mind. Being an antigen test, they aren't as accurate as the slower tests you get at a hospital, but that's nothing against this test. The directions are easy to follow, and the kit is easy to use. You can spend more money on basically the exact same tests from other companies and get no better results. Note that if it's been more than a couple days since you were vaccinated you will get a negative result. You will get a negative result from any covid test that doesn't involve a blood sample. That's not a problem with the tests, that's biology.

This test was recommended by a friend. Keep in mind that this is not an antibody test for the reviewer who gave it one star because they had been vaccinated and it came up negative. (this was a good thing since your vaccine is working) This is an antigen test and per the CDD "Antigen tests are immunoassays that detect the presence of a specific viral antigen, which implies current viral infection." It is a good starting point and these days should be a part of your medicine cabinet.

I wish it had an expiration date. Fortunately I haven't had to take the test. Bought it to have on hand.

My results are negative (we had Covid over 2 weeks ago) but getting together with family today. These lines are confusing if you’re not already familiar. Seems quality control is a bit off, maybe in their haste to produce more, quicker. For $24 you should get more tests. There needs to be more accessible testing options - not everyone can afford $24 for two tests.

Super easy to use and see results, I seen a lot of bad reviews from others because it didn’t show they had it before. please remember antigen tests will only work if you are actively infectious. These tests will not show if you had an infection 2 weeks ago let alone 6 months ago.
