We have about 3 acres and lots of dandelion and other similar weeds. Very overwhelming to say the least. I found this while searching options and was very excited to try it out. I pulled on some gloves, grabbed a garbage bag and my new weeder and started walking the yard looking for weeds. Some weeds will come up with a long root system and others will not, but it works like a charm. Very simple to use. Will take some time to go over all 3 acres, but I set myself a 30 minute timer, and start pulling. In 30 minutes I fill up my garbage bag. I figure 30 minutes a day and one garbage bag at a time- I will conquer the weeds... I highly recommend this weed puller!!!!

This tool does its job and does it very well. Crab grass doesn’t stand a chance. It’s almost addicting to use, very satisfying and enjoyable. It pulls out a little chunk of dirt about 2” deep so it’s sorta like core aerating your lawn while easily removing any weed with ease, large or small. We have an all organic Bermuda grass lawn that doesn’t have many weeds to begin with and this thing will remain a staple in my lawn care equipment for all of eternity. This is a real tool and beats picking by hand or using harmful chemicals by a long shot. I’m rarely impressed by a product but this one checks all the boxes and delivers more than expected. Well done. Only thing is Amazon delivered it in a comically large 2’x4’ box, quite a waste of packaging and space.

I am allergic to almost everything outside. I never help with weeding. I got this for my husband but it worked so well for me, I may help him. As long as you can find the center of the weed, it pulls it right out, usually whole. For me, it meant my hands didn't have to touch the weeds, and my face wasn't right down close. I just used the tool to move it to the trash can. It does make quick work of it and you dont have to bend down. The smaller and fragile the weed the harder it is. I live in Florida. Very well made and sturdy. I like that it came in one piece so it is stronger. The box they sent could have held a body it was so big.

When I tell you how fast I unboxed and started using this as soon as it was delivered, you wouldn't even believe me. Delivered --> immediately using it. I love this, super easy to use, didn't break a sweat, and I had my baby on my hip the whole time. My one criticism is that once you use it the mechanism gets clogged up by the weed and dirt. My lawn was wet, it's been a little rainy, so it got clogged up quickly and that was when I struggled while holding my child at the same time. Am I happy to have it? Yes. Is it worth the $$$? Probably? Do I recommend it to a friend? maybe. If there was a way to eject the weed and dirt one handed then this would be a home run and I would buy one for all my loved ones.

After pulling out 125 dandylions, I felt there must be a less back breaking way to get at these invaders. This tool is a game changer and while a few did not pull out completely, it did get quite a bit of the root. This tool is worth every penny and can even be used to air the lawn as it pulls out a little plug. I also used it on those pesky violets. I am so happy! Bonus that this is sturdy and has a very appealing look.

I Read the reviews and some complained they had to take the weed out of the grabber, or it broke. It is a very sturdy tool I would think they used it in very hard ground or used too much force to get the weed out. Not necessary. If your soil is hard use it after the rain when the soil is soft. As far as removing the weed just use your foot or shake the tool. That is no big deal, this tool saves your back! Love it, I haven't had to bend over at all. It gets weeds out of the grass and mulch. Yes, you should center it over the weed and sometimes you may have to do it twice if the weed is very large. But it definitely works and I have not had to use force. It is a very useful tool. Highly recommend.

This works very well. I bought two styles, the other had a push and twist method, and it got the same amount of root out and was cheaper and had a spring mechanism to shoot the root clump out into your bucket, BUT that one left a pretty big hole that would need to be filled. This one you need to remove the root clump from the tool by hand BUT it leaves a much smaller hole in the ground that fills in naturally. I had a ton of dandelions and other weeds throughout my yard and flower beds and this was a fun/relaxing activity, and I didn't need to use chemicals (which wouldn't have worked anyway because the grass has not been dry for 24 hours in the past few weeks).

I absolutely love this. I hadn't used it until this past weekend, but it it so easy to do, and it made weeding a breeze. You center it over the weed, push down with your foot, and tilt it to the side - your force clamps the weeder shut and pulls the weed from the ground. Effective weeding fully standing up - no kneeling or bending over, and no arm/back pain from fighting to pull things out of the ground. I highly recommend this to anyone. Only thing to consider is that it does need to sink into the ground to work, so it does not work well to weed in areas with landscaping rocks. I wish I'd had one of these for years.

One of my son’s neighbor recommended this weeder to me. He brought it out and demonstrated how easy it was to use so I immediately bought myself one. I have to tell you, not only is it easy to use but it’s fun too! I never thought of weeding as fun but you have to try this! It’s so satisfying to see the roots being pulled up with the weed. Be sure to put the claws in the middle of the weed. I would highly recommend this!

I bought this for myself hoping it would help prevent some back pain when I weeded. Not only does it keep me from bending over so much and thus, preventing back pain, but it pulls the weeds up from the roots. I was able to weed the front of my house in about half the time it would normally take. I told my older sister about this tool and ordered one for her. Then my neighbor saw me using it and liked it so much I ordered one for her as well. So, I purchased three of these weeders within a few days!
