LOVE LOVE LOVE! I highly recommend. I love the fact I can vacuum anytime...from anywhere. The app makes it so easy to program. I feel my carpet is so much cleaner. Have a dog, great for dog hair/dust/dirt etc

This is my second robot vacuum. I returned a random brand one from Amazon because it ran into everything, cleaned random, and spoke too much. This roomba is perfect. Cleans in an organized method, has strong suction, and lightly taps baseboards and furniture. I used to be a regular vacuumer and this first time it vacuumed it was FULL. Now I have it set on a schedule and it still picks up so much. Mapping feature is amazing. Best investment for time!

This is my first robot vacuum and I love it! Perfect for my hardwood floors and easy to setup and use. Saves me from having to push a vacuum that can be hard on my back.

Roomba i3 EVO by its self is not compatible with the clean base unless you already have a i3+ with the green valve on the bottom of the dust collector bin. You can swap out the dust bin from your old i3+ it will work. The clean base will work with any of the newer Roombas that has the dust bin with the green valve. The clean base simply turns on when the Roomba docks to empty the dust bin. You can buy the dust bin with the green valve to make it work with the clean base. I had an i3+ that died and I simply bought the new EVO i3 and I swapped out the bin to make it work with my old clean base. The picture on the Amazon website is not correct since it shows the I3+ EVO vacuum and not the plain i3 EVO. The first picture is from the Amazon website " iRobot Roomba i3 EVO (3150) Wi-Fi Connected Robot Vacuum – Now Clean by Room with Smart Mapping Works with Alexa Ideal for Pet Hair Carpets & Hard Floors, Roomba i3" The second picture is of the back of the new i3 EVO (3150) that I purchased from Amazon. As you can see they are not the same..... Vacuum works great for my home, I have no pets and no children. Home is around 2500 sq feet down stairs where we use it.

I was impressed by the amount of dust and pet hair captured by the Roomba. It works better than my normal vacuum. It requires 2 rechargings before it can complete my entire home, but that is not a problem of course. The only problem I experienced was that the app is not available in my location outside of the US.

I'v had this little guy for exactly 5 days now and WOW. We have a brand new 3000sqft house, with 2 German Shedders. From my last place, i knew i'm not a regular vacuumer, AT ALL (maybe every other week). I never really cared because the last place was a dump anyway. Here, i knew that i wanted to keep on top of vacuuming regularly and consistently. I've always wanted one of these but didn't want to spend the money, so when we got our new home, i considered it an investment. We have a main floor, which is mostly vinyl flooring and the basement is all carpeted. This guy has made life sooo much easier already. Set up was a little bit of a pain. It wouldn't connect for many tries that i attempted over a period of about an hour. Then i went online for troubleshooting. The very first hint was to force-close the app, then try again. Worked on the FIRST try after that. So our main floor has a lot of complications for the robot, so it takes a while. First go around took almost 4 hours (re-charging included). Basement is less complicated, first go around there was 2 hours (with 1 recharge). However, on the second try in the basement, it obviously learned our floor plan and cut the clean time to 58 min! (Battery lasts for 75 min on 1 charge). It's still trying to figure out the first floor because we're constantly moving things around, but it still manages to get everything each time. This thing is SMART. It avoids the stairs, has INCREDIBLE suction, super EASY to empty/clean. It's pretty QUIET on carpet, but i can't say the same on the hard floors, which makes sense, you know, science and all... Of course this can't replace ALL my vacuuming, for example it doesn't get behind doors or tight corners, behind the toilet, etc, but it has been impressing me every single go around so far. I can't really use the 'scheduling' feature since i have to carry it from floor to floor, but if it keeps doing a good job, i am going to SERIOUSLY consider getting a second one. Maybe even a mop! Apart from this house, this Roomba is absolutely my favorite purchase in a while!

This is the second one I have owned. Unfortunately, the first one worked so well that it picked up the dog's poop. I can't be mad since it did exactly as advertised and did it exceptionally well. It was just such a mess that we decided to get a new one. It creates a map just like it advertises, and picks up everything in its path. The compartment is super easy to empty, and it's very easy to take apart if you need to clean the rollers, brush, or any other part. I wish I had one for every floor but it allows you to create different maps for different floors. Absolutely no complaints.

This is the first robot vacuum I have ever purchased, so I don't have a lot to compare it to. The vacuum works very well and does a very thorough job, even getting under chairs and other furniture where it can. With its low profile, it is able to go more places than I expected. Our home has a lot of different levels, so I can't really utilize the scheduled cleaning, as we have to manually move it to each area, but it works well and doesn't seem to get confused. It picks up plenty of dust and debris. My only complaint is that it sometimes thinks the dust bin is full when it isn't; so you have to clean it fairly well each time you empty it.

Review Update - 11 months later. Still very happy with the Roomba. No issues and it's still doing a good job of picking up cat hair, dirt, etc. Note: When you empty the bin you also need to pop out the filter (very easy) and tap it a few times in your dust bin. This will extend the life of your filter quite a bit. That being said we're changing our filter every three months or so as a precaution. Beware of cat toys on the floor, the Roomba will try to "eat" them, especially the smaller springs, etc. Initial Review - Likes - really does a good job of cleaning both carpets and hardwood floors. Easy to empty the trash bin/clean the parts. Easy to remove the parts for cleaning, etc. We have a large house, 4 bedrooms, living room, dining room, den, kitchen, 3 bathrooms all on the same level. It takes ET about 4 hours to clean everything with at least 3 charging events. We have cats so emptying the trash bin needs to be accomplished 2 or 3 times during this period. My wife really likes the fact that it cleans under all of the beds easily, a favorite hang out for several of our cats. So far no issues at all with the cleaning aspect of this unit. Dislikes - trying to program this unit was a bust. Couldn't get it to connect to my WiFi/Router no matter what I did. I'm fairly computer literate with multiple WiFi based devices in our home but this frustrated me to no end. Fortunately I really didn't need this feature in that all I have to do is "manually activate" the device and it goes from there. I'm still giving the device 5 stars but caution anyone expecting to use the programming feature via your phone/router that they may be in for some frustration. Note: Our cats really like ET!!

This i3 roomba was so easy to set up and charge easy to use app for phone and Alexa voice controls. Very smart roomba. You do have to let the vacuum map your home first.
