The way this is designed for the lock feature pinches my hand nearly every time I use it. I had really high hopes for this but have been sorely disappointed. I would have returned it but it was a birthday gift I picked out for myself from my husband. I chose it mostly for the auto shut off feature that I thought would give me peace of mind in case I left it on. Now I just try to remember to maneuver my hand in a strange way so I don’t get pinched each time I open it to put a new strand of hair in. Poor design!

While this was great when it was working, I plugged it in one day and it just no longer turned on. No light, no heat, nothing. I've had it less than 6 months. Updated: customer service was great, they said this is unusual for this product and sent a replacement, I will come back to this review in 6 months 😂

I have shoulder length, thin, fine hair. My hair is mostly straight with some wave at the ends. For a flat iron, it is smooth. The curling aspect of this is horrible. My hair is not thick enough to stay in the iron as it bends around. I’ve watched every video with zero success. The lock is nice but not a huge selling point for me. Temp control is probably the best feature. I like the dial/twist. I will be getting about 3-4 inches of hair cut off in the next couple of days. If it doesn’t work on my shorter cut, I will be returning. It really just is “ok.” (I buy from Amazon a lot- this is probably my 2nd review)

While this item says 2 in 1, I got it so that I could do curls with. It would not curl my hair, which is really easy to curl. I tried the recommended temp since I have thin hair and nothing. I watched the videos on how to curl your hair and still nothing. I had to return it. While it is a great straightener it would not curl my hair. I purchased it based on the reviews and pictures, however I was disappointed with this item. It heated up fast but the heat pads are small so be weary of that. It's a nice product but just didn't work for me.

The only problem I had with product was that I had to grip it really hard the entire time while straightening my hair. If I don't, it doesn't quite sandwich the strands of hair strongly enough to straighten it. Both heat and grip would need to work together well to help straighten your hair.

Good product but only good for longer hair in my opinion. Also takes practice to not burn your hand!

This curling iron was too hard for me to use so I returned it I couldn’t really maneuver it it was too awkward

It does heat up pretty fast but it didn't straighten my hair at all. I had high hopes after reading other reviews but I've had much better results with cheaper irons. It seemed like i couldn't get a tight enough grip on my hair, but if I used a thicker section of hair it just wouldn't get straight. Don't like it at all

Although this iron has several heat settings its either not hot enough to do anything or its so hot it singes my hair. It also does not glide smoothly through my hair so it leaves little creases down the length of my hair. My hair is naturally straight with some slight waves and this iron can even handle straightening that. I use quality hair products but it doesn't help. The accessories that come with it are nice though. I use the comb and the clips often and they are actually made really well.

I had high hopes for this flat iron curler as most of the reviews were so high. But this product is not useful for me. It is too heavy and too long for me to handle. However, I am a senior citizen and not very strong…so although it’s not good for me, it probably is good for a younger and stronger person.
