I have fairly fine hair so it can be damaged easily. I like the different settings with their recommendations. I don't think the lock works that great I myself feel it is a bit lose. Overall it seems to be a good product.

Im only giving it two stars because i can still use it as a basic hair straightener. Trying to actually curl hair does not work as well with this device compared to any curlers Ive used. I have naturally smooth, straight hair but it was always getting pulled and caught between the irons. Also, the curls don't come out half as nice or the way they are wanted when using this compared to any other styler. I wish I had returned mine within the time frame. Now im stuck with it :( *Update.... I was reimbursed $20 in response to my concerns so I have increased my overall rating.

Very nice, works great and like most straighteners. I wanted to give my hair body and wave and using it the “curling” way is perfect for that. Just YouTube how to use it to curl, I was about to return it but I was just doing it wrong. I got it on sale for $40 and am super happy with it.

I loved the curved design. It’s easy for curling your hair and straightening in one! The only thing that I felt was lacking, was the weight of the iron. It feels kind of cheap if you’re use to $150 flat irons. However, it did a great job and didn’t tangle or pull at my hair.

Heats up quickly! Easy to use. Can also be used as a curling iron. I do not use it on the highest setting and still able to really get a super sleek look. I do use a round brush blow dryer first, but my hair is very voluminous. So in order to achieve “total sleekness”, this definitely does the trick!

I love this straightener, however after having it for a year the locking mechanism breaks out of nowhere. This has happened to me twice now over the course of the years. I’ve neher dropped it. I didn’t even mind that it didn’t lock shut but you can’t straightener your hair properly because something is stuck and you have trouble closing it. The money this straightener costs may only last you a year.

I bought this for my hair extensions as they dry wavy unlike my hair but also wanted to curl hair with it as well. The email they send after purchase shows you how to curl your hair with it, I tried that way and it didn't work out for me so I watched a couple you tube videos and found a way that works better. It can create nice, right curls or loose ones. The only problem I haven't been able to figure out is how not to get the creases at the top of the curl the flat iron leaves. The packaging is nice worth useful tools. I'm happy with it.

Great for straightening, has some cool features but doesn’t work well for curling. I have been curling my hair with a straightener for years and had more success with others that aren’t actually designed for curling (like this one is supposed to be). I ended up returning this, not worth the price. UPDATE: After returning this product, the seller reached out to me to apologize and offered to send me a different straightener FOR FREE. The new one is AMAZING and even though it’s not meant for curling, it curls better than anything I’ve ever used! Great customer service is all it takes! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it took a little while before they reached out after the return so I had already bought another (more expensive) straightener by then. Oh well, now I have two :-)

I didn’t like that I have to press the plates closed for my hair to get straight but it works great for a 60 buck straightener. Get you a Paul Mitchell neuro they’re definitely worth 150 and all you need is two passes with course hair.

I have used this a twice since my purchase. I’ve had my previous flat iron for over 20 years and as a result I’m not used to the new iron just yet. Sometimes, it feels as if it’s not as good as my previous iron, but I say tell myself it’s adjusting to a whole new style of iron compared to what I’ve used for so long. I can’t say it’s a bad iron but I’m indifferent about my opinion of it simply because I haven’t used it consistently as of yet. I may update my review later once some time has passed.
