Disclaimer. I ended up returning this item. I really wanted to like it. Because it was made for a certain part of my body, I felt like it missed on the other parts of the upper back. I found myself having to move it frequently to get the other areas too.

I have arthritis in my neck as well as a bad disc so I have frequent neck pain. I love that it has a flat that sits tall on the neck because my pain isn't just at the base. But I wish that part was wider so it covered a bit of the sides of my neck as well. Overall very pleased with it.
