Love this coffee maker, but first thing I noticed when removing from the box is how very thin the glass is on the coffee pot. And sure enough, after only a couple weeks of use the glass broke while hand cleaning it. I don’t even know how. I was washing it and all of a sudden the water was shooting out of a hole near the bottom/side. I hadn’t even tapped it on anything! I ordered a replacement, and guess what… the glass on the replacement is much thicker, telling me the coffee pot that comes with this is meant to break so you’ll eventually need to buy a replacement for $35. Had to knock two stars off because of that. Bad business practice.

We absolutely love this machine. We've had it about a month. It's great for pots of coffee. For K-cups...it leaves grounds in the cup. If it was just a few it would not bother us. This is a lot.I might be sending it back.

I was going to return this product because it does not make hot coffee. In fact you will have to microwave to get it hot, but after purchasing another brand that has a separate water dispenser (know as a higher end product as well) I chose to keep it until they come out with a better one. It is a design flaw issue. One was returned that was even less warming than this one. Be aware that you will have to warm it, but you can’t beat the taste in my opinion, and now I’m spoiled to the water dispenser fur my teas. Wish they hadn’t discontinued the old ninja. It was great. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!!!!

Something this expensive should let you set the temperature of the warming plate (you can set the time only). There really should be an insulated carafe option, because that's the only good option.Instead I got excited because of a sale.Don't do what I did, get another model with a thermal carafe instead.

I am disappointed that I splurged on this thinking I would have it for a long time like I did my keurig. I cannot make a cup of coffee using k cups without getting coffee grinds in it. I have tried so many things. Very disappointing.
Don’t buy
This for the price is not worth it. It’s made cheaply and the water keeps saying closed no matter what I have done to try and fix it. That means the water reservoir is saying clogged or closed, which it is not.

I switched from a Keurig because I had a problem with the machine and their customer service was terrible! I read all the fantastic reviews on the Ninja so decided to purchase one. So far I am extremely disappointed. We use Starbucks pods about 90% of the time but loved the option to also make a pot all in the same machine. There are grounds in every cup I’ve made so far. Not just a few, but lots. It’s disgusting! I will happily add stars to my review if anyone can give me a good resolution to this issue.

The media could not be loaded. I looked most of the review about this this product and I thought it was a good idea to get one. After 3 months of buying it. It starts with some malfunction issues as showing in thr video above.I could have got something cheaper for my money and still work great!

I had a different model ninja coffee maker and enjoyed it up until coffee was leaking everywhere. My boyfriend suggested we get a different ninja coffee maker and one that can use pods. So he bought me this one. Every single time we use a K Cup, all of the coffee grounds are in the bottom of the cup. This started happening just a month of having it. We have tried absolutely every idea to get it to stop. I’ve cut the bottom of the k cups after they’re used and the bag inside of it is being ripped from the needles. I watched a review on YouTube and others are having trouble with too. Also, when we use the coffee ground attachment and it’s “done” brewing, the coffee maker while sound off while the coffee is still pouring. About to buy a keurig and be done with ninja products.

Beware of any 8-18oz coffee drinkers...coffee will not come out hot from this machine. Was extremely disappointed because I really wanted to love it. Thought I may have had a defective machine...nope. Had bought one from Amazon, another from Target for testing, same temperature issue. What's Ninja's recommendation? Warm up your mug or run warm water through the machine before use...really? No one wants to spend $200+ and have to perform additional steps to get hot coffee in the morning. My $20, 5 cup Mr.Coffee had performed 100x better than this machine. Please do your research and you'll find several other reviews who get coffee that is not hot.Another complaint, you have to manually turn on the warming plate if you make any coffee less than 28oz. There is no dedicated button to do this, nor does it do it automatically below that 28oz setting. You have to turn the knob to 28oz, hit "keep warm" that lights up, then switch back to 8,12,16oz. Thought I could fix my cold coffee issue with the warming plate...nope. Stick to another brand if you want hot coffee.
