It is quick you can do both legs in 10-15 minutes. After the 4-12 weeks you can decrease your treatments to only using it every 1-2 months. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this Braun Permanent Hair Removal System for several weeks now and I'm actually seeing results. First I shave the areas I want to use this product on, then when it's dry I start using the device. For my legs I use the larger attachment and hold the button down as I go for larger areas. It's comfortable to use, and easy to grip, with a slight warm sensation while treating the areas. For my chin, cheeks and upper lip area (not on my actual lips) I use the smaller attachment and just spot hit it by pushing the button as I go, and not hloding the button down making sure I'm hitting the exact areas I want hair removal. At first it seemed to grow back thinner, but after several weeks of using once a week It's taking longer to grow back and some areas not at all. I will continue using this weekly for a few more weeks when I think I'll reach my desired goal, then monthly for touch ups. I'm super excited for this journey and I'm loving this product!

My complexion is a light olive tone with dirty blonde hair and so far this laser hair remover has been great. Easy to use and handle, and seems to be effective so far. Hair is growing much slower and less than before and no discoloration or issues. I've tested different parts of my skin and small patches at a time and I can see and feel the difference. I've done professional laser hair removal off and on for years and this feels no different. High quality effective product with great results. I definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, make sure you check out the chart to make sure this device is right for you! I was beyond impressed with the packaging for the device. It comes with a beautiful carrying case. Instructions are extremely user friendly. You plug it in and press any button to turn it on. You hold it up to your skin and the unit won’t work if you don’t have contact on all sides of the head. If you press and hold, it delivers “zaps” one after another so you glide it along the larger are you’re treating. Also the larger head works for this. The smaller head treats smaller areas. For smaller areas you just press once to deliver one single “zap”. Speaking of “zap” it doesn’t really hurt. The longer you use it, you t does tend to heat up and sting a tiny bit, but I wouldn’t describe it as pain. You use it once a week for 12 weeks and then monthly after that. I’m 4 weeks/treatments in on my legs and underarms and can already notice a difference. My hair isn’t growing back as rapidly. I’m also noticing less and thinner hair all together. After only 4 treatments I’m excited to see what it will be like after 12. Definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for effective at home hair removal!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't 100% sure this would work with my hair colour which is dark auburn and I have very hair skin but have been using it for about four weeks now and there is a definite reduction in hair growth. It's a really easy to use and well made unit. I've been using it on my arms, legs and bikini area. I haven't used it on my face as I have facial fillers and that is contradicted but once those have worn off I'll be tackling that area. My arms responded quickest, really within a couple of weeks and my legs are definitely getting there. The hair will grow back if you stop using it so I'll carry on with weekly use. it doesn't hurt to use. It's a very very slight kind of twang which you quickly get used to and it's not enough to put me or I doubt anyone else off from using it. It takes me about twenty minutes to do both legs so I make sure I use it on a day when I've got plenty of time and that helps me do it consistently. It does say to stay out of the sun after use and I'll be going on vacation soon so I'll be taking a break from it for two weeks and then will get back to it. Compared to the price of visiting a salon it's a great investment.

I was surprised at the new technology that has come out such as this IPL. I love how this machine looks very elegant and professional. It’s very easy to use. The machine literally does all the hard work for you. I’m going to compare pain levels from the at home laser machine I own to this braun one. The Braun one hurts less for sure. I think it’s because it detects your skin tone and how hard it sends a flash. That being said I’m not going to say it doesn’t hurt. Pain is beauty right? Depending on which areas you use it, you will definitely feel it more in the sensitive areas. Overall I’ve been using it for weeks and have noticed less hair growth. I can’t wait to see the results in 6 months to a year. Everything takes time, you won’t see results overnight so please be patient. Overall I am very pleased with this IPL system and the only thing I would recommend is getting some sort of laser goggles/glasses. The flashes are pretty bright and after a while do hurt your eyes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not new to IPL devices as this is at least the 3rd IPL I have tried. I like Braun because I think it's a trusted brand and when I saw this new IPL from Braun, I knew I had to try it. This comes with a little case, which I appreciate so I don't have to keep it in the box like my other IPL. They give you a razor, which is necessary since you'll want to shave right before you use this, otherwise it's painful. Setup is easy, just make sure you look at the chart(before purchasing ideally) to see if you are a good candidate. Red hard, darker skin or grey hair are usually a no go for this kind of treatment. There are different attachment sizes for different parts of the body(legs, face, etc). I watched a video before I ever tried and IPL just so I knew how to move it about my body. You'll want to essentially move it the length/width of the little screen on the attachment each time you move it. It really isn't painful at all, and it literally takes less than 5 minutes per leg. You'll want to do this once a week for 4 weeks to start seeing results. The device itself is easy to use and hold. My other IPL has a turnable head which is nice as it helps with the ergonomics. But this device isn't too hard to navigate into smaller areas. Overall happy with this, and I know it'll last because it's a great brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is awesome. I have been using this for about 6 weeks now and I am seeing considerably less hair growth. My underarms are virtually bald, my legs are getting there. I use once a week. The multiple settings are great, one area of skin may be more sensitive than another so that's great. I will tell you if you have tattoos it is an absolute certainty that you do not use this on those areas. It states that in the directions, but I accidentally ran over one on my leg and it was significantly different feeling than the rest of the leg. Much more intense, I assume because of the pigment. I cannot wait to see the continued progress on the legs. It does say that for those larger areas use weekly for 2-3 months and then monthly for maintenance. At no point has this caused any real discomfort or pain. It is simple "zaps" that you feel but not really. There are different heads for different areas of the body. Smaller is great for chin, lip or underarms and of course the large is best for legs. You must make contact with the skin that is measured by the unit for it to "zap" so if there are smaller areas like ankles that you can't get the larger head to recognize, switch to the smaller for those areas. 100% recommend!!
