The help section is virtually non-existent and more times than not, it essentially said “go look it up on IRS(dot)gov” The font is microscopic. Data such as effective tax rate are non-existent. It makes filing choices for you and never tells you why.

Had major problems confirming the AGI. Software provided a number that made no sense. Therefore I was unable to electronically submit my taxes. I had to run around making paper copies to get my return on time. Very disappointed in this product and will never use again.

a small number of software companies have made it so purchased software is needed to prepare and electronically file any moderately complex tax return. The updates came late this year. The application is generally sluggish on a relatively new Mac. I had an issue with the PDF generation of my finalized tax return that required calling for support because the corrective action wasn't published and frankly, shouldn't have occured anyway. Phone support was OK, but not great. The instructions generally defer to the IRS documentation, so there's no value added here. I don't understand how this software "maximizes a refund" when the calculation is the calculation. My manual prepared return that I did in November was identical to both the Federal and State returns.

Been using for over 10 years. I have had a terrible experience. Had problems filing on April 15th due to hrblock issues as reported in the media so filed an extension. When I was preparing my taxes for the filing, the file got corrupted and had to REDO everything!!! I think the way certain question are phrased are horribly vague, ambiguous and not helpful. I cannot recommend this product to a friend.

The software was to be delivered digitally, but was actually NEVER delivered. Called them twice, first time they sent me a $5 bonus, second time a few days later that they told me to wait a couple more days, but it is now 38 days already from the purchase day! I will call them again in a few minutes!

I have been trying for 5 days to install the program but it will not work. Tells me that my product is not registered at their website. So this has been one of the worst experiences with an online purchase ever.
