I downloaded the program to my laptop too many times by accident. So when my daughter went to download it in her PC, it would not load because it already had reached its maximum download. So unfortunately only one return was able to be filed from this program 😕

I use it block tax software because of its ease of use and step by step building to completion. I was disappointed in how long it took to be able to complete the return because it took so long to get all the forms in the program because they weren't ready to submit. While Block pointed to the Government I knew people who submitted their returns including those forms. The particular form that held me up until mid February was the energy credit form.

Great for most filing needs. Easy to follow interview takes you through all the major sections for filing. Would be better if it had functionality to file trust documents, which I had to compute and fill out manually, but for most personal income tax needs, does the job well.

I buy the a tax package that I can install on my personal home computer so I can complete tax returns for myself and my grown kids. This package allows me to do that and it works with MAC OS. The other brand stopped running on current MAC OS. The only gripe i have is that I had to switch to a new home computer during the tax season and tax software would not open tax files created on the old computer. Both were MAC's. Had to re-enter all the information on any filing that I needed to adjust.

It is a good tax program however last year's seemed to be a little bit cumbersome navigating thru a few of the pages. And I had trouble downloading info from last year's taxes. I have used this program for 8 years now, and tell everyone about the program.

I have used this product for several years and have been very pleased with the time it takes to prepare the tax and to submit. Each year, however, I find myself paying a small amount due to not using the correct minimum distribution on a health account. Somehow, the tax program is not seeing this, or it is not entered correctly. I almost think that the IRS is charging me for the new balance because I did not use any of it the previous year and the tax software is only using the current year's amount being put into the account.

I have used this software for several years now and find it very reliable. There are a few items whose explanations could be clearer. RI SDI never appears as a upfront part of the W2 and you have to hope it's the same as TDI. My return for RI this year and the year before was adjusted by a few cents. I'm not sure why any modifications were needed. Would be even better if imports from Morgan Stanley were possible.

I used to have to itemized and do long form. With the Trump tax cuts my late wife and I were so happy to be able to take the standard deductions and use the short form. it has been at least 7 years now and tax time is no longer a headache worried about how long it would be to get things just the way they needed to be to be submitted to the IRS. now 30minutes or less taxes done and filed. This year I had both my state and federal refund checks in my mail box in just 3 weeks!

Reasonable cost for the product. Easy to import information. Questions and explanations could be a little more clear and if the software indicates something for review when it does the error check, it is hard to find the area in the questionnaire part of the return (in my experience, perhaps user error). Overall, will likely continue to use

I would give the software 5 stars because I am very pleased with the overall results and support but deducted a star because I have never been able to get the auto fill feature for filling in previous years company, and other info to work. Nor can I download the info from my investments. Hasn't worked for me though I've tried for many years. So, I have to enter the info each year.
