Bought this because the regular vacuum I had prior just wasn’t cutting it once I adopted an adult german shepherd/husky mix. I’m allergic to both dogs and cats yet I willingly adopted one of each, but I love them- so what can I say? I’ve had the vacuum for a few months now.I use it weekly to vacuum carpet, hard floor, and I use the attachments to vacuum the dog bed before I throw it in the wash, as well as my mattress and couch. I feel a huge improvement in my allergies from when I was using just a regular vacuum before and I think it really does help if you use it on a regular basis.

I was waiting on parts for my Hoover Windtunnel to arrive. I bought this one on clearance just to fill in the void. Well, this one is amazing. It sucks out unreal amounts of dirt and dust. The crevice tool is super at removing dust and dirt from around baseboard. Even though the model has been discontinued, Bissell still honors the warranty. If I had known the Bissell was this good, I would have bought one with HEPA filtration. This is now my preferred brand of vacuum.

I was hesitant to buy this vacuum cause of the size, but I’m glad I did. I have two cats who love to lounge around, so naturally their fur is everywhere as they claim their spots. This vacuum gets pet hair up out of my carpets like no other - first use looked like I had a whole cat in the canister. It’s a bit big and you need a place to store it, but it’s worth it.

Putting my cordless, electric vacuum in the back burner after using this vacuum for all the pet hair. Its functionality and efficiency is incomparable! I love how effective it is when cleaning now, even use it for cleaning pet hair in the car. Believe the hype, run; don’t walk and get this in your home! Plus you’re supporting a great company that supports animal shelters!

Only had it for 2 weeks. It has great suction, but it is new. I read reviews about the belt breaking, unsure if the floor level setting has anything to do with that. I have mid-pile carpet and set it to the highest level and it’s picking up great! Amazing for pet hair! I hope it lasts a while!

Good price and working great so far

This vacuum is amazing despite what every negative review says. If your belt is constantly breaking, you don’t have it on the right carpet setting if it is not suctioning after the third or fourth use it is clogged up somewhere or the filter is dirty. This vacuum works so much better than all the shark vacuums or daredevil or Hoover vacuums I have owned. Compared to my previous dirt devil the turbo brush attachment actually works the dusting brush and crevice tool is functional and so is the wand.

The first use of it you could see it working great it was pulling everything from the carpet, it moves very easily around the carpet it was super easy to maneuver around big furniture it is pretty lightweight as well and it empties easily it was a great purchase for my apartment!

Bought this in March 2023. I use it on hardwood floors and 3 different densities of rugs, and it's not once become stuck, no fur has trapped along the wheels and it's picked up every ridiculous tidbits of straggler fur my roommate's vacuum can't get. Their vacuum, altho bought earlier 2024 is already in the shop. This Bissell has been problem free and a wonderful worker!
