Within 3 months the belt on the vacuum snapped in half

We have had this vacuum for less than a year and it just burns through belts. I think part of the problem is that the roller brush stays on while you’re using the hose so it’s constantly running. Things get caught, the belt burns out in 1 seconds, and then you have a house that smells like burnt rubber while you maintain the vacuum so you can finish the chore you started. It is otherwise a decent vacuum, I like the swivel, I like the pet hair brush, but I’m tired of fixing it.

Good vacuum, works well for pet hair. Within a couple months of having it there was a strong burning smell and would not suction anymore. Started working again after a couple months but same thing happened. We have one area rug and one carpeted room, so not overworked. Regular cleaning and dumping of dust/hair. If you want a vacuum that will last longer, spend a little bit more money.

Ive had this product for a few months now and its amazing for pet hair! It really picks up a lot but so many downsides to rhe product like ir doesnt pick up the small stuff like popcorn or crumbs on the floor and its heavy!!!!! Its very heavy and the hose is so small i cant tell u how many times it fell on the floor or my foot. Definitely get a different vacuum

While the vacuum works well for low pile carpets, stairs, and bare floors, it is extremely difficult to push on heavier pile carpet, and impossible on a shag length. Very disappointed, and the ridiculously high pitched whirring sound it makes is almost unhbearable.

Be careful if you're bending down while using the hose because the vacuum isn't heavy enough to support itself so It'll fall on you.

I returned this product, I am a senior, it was too heavy and loud

When I got this vacuum it worked great the first time I used it. When using it the second time, the belt went out and it smelt of burning hair. Only having it for 5 days, I called customer support and they were not helpful to say the least. They wouldn't replace the vacuum, but suggested a shop nearby that could fix it under warranty. Then was told the problem wasn't covered under warranty (keep in mind I used it ONE time). The technician showed me that there clearly is a design flaw, and all of the pet hair gets lodged in the belt, which is obviously a huge safety issue. Called bissell to ask for a refund and they offered to give me free filters totaling the cost of repair. No thanks. Save your money and get a nicer brand/model.

The brush roller has already quit working!!!

Much heavier than I remember my other uprights being, they were nott Bissell.
