Household vacuuming. We don't have pets but trust that the vacuum will pick up really well. The maneuverability and versatility, switch from floor to the attachments is great. The cord, we didn't opt for the special spring loaded retracting cord, but would be nice for that to be standard.

So far so good. Good price. Just wish it could lock in place or swivel.

I bought the Bissell 2316 for my daughter. She loves it!! Her house has both hard wood floors and tile, with area rugs. She said it works well and she is now dust free! Her cats are not afraid of the noise because it is fairly quiet. It also vacuumed up a huge spider from her bathroom floor. Yea!! Women love to be rescued or at least have something at home that can rescue them from the everyday dirt and critters that come into our homes. Thank you. Kristy J.

The cord needs to have a place to hang when using. Love the ease of emptying the canister.

Used for general housekeeping. Does a great job of cleaning. However, it needs a locking mechanism for the swivel. While the swivel handle is convenient, we have one rug with a stiff texture that if you try to vacuum across the grain it is difficult to steer the vacuum. If you could lock the handle it would be much easier.

I've had this product for just over 2 months. I love the suction power on this vacuum and the fact that I dont have to worry about battery life. The also like the fact that the length of the cord is long enough that I dont have to keep plugging/unplugging to clan my entire condo. It can be a little louder than usual and a tad bit bulky and heavy. Other than that, it works great over all and would definitely recommend this product.

I have had this vacuum for about a month. Good purchase for the money. The vacuum works really well on hard floors.

I've only used it twice so far. It was easy to put together and it's easy to use. It sucked up an enormous amount of dirt/dust on the first go. It's light for doing the stairs too. I'm not crazy about the hose attachment. There isn't a great attachment spot for the end of the hose. You kind of push it on and it's not easy to get off when you need to use it.
