It worked great for the first 2 months, then problems started with the belt. It breaks constantly. I now have a supply of them and replace them every other time i use it. Would never buy this again. Service hotline charges $5.00 to speak with their tech. Annoying!

Bought vac in july it broke in Oct. I have an apt that's less than 700 sq ft. And a bedroom with carpet.

Hair somehow gets sucked into the motor of the vacuum and burns! If you are looking for a vacuum of good quality don't get this vacuum

The vacuum worked fine. It picked up stuff and fluffed our carpet. The high pitched noise is intolerable. After one use my ears were ringing. I cannot imagine having to hear that every third day or so.

I used this to vacuum a normal medium carpet only and after the second use the beater brush stopped, rubber burning smell permeated the room and now it doesn't work at all.

NOT good on the EARs high pitched whistling had to send it back Powerful suction .... But blows to much air if filter gets dirty will spue dust everywhere

I bought this vacuum to replace my 7 yr old bissel. I vacuum twice a day to keep up with pet hair and kid messes. The swivel feature was on every available vacuum so I had no choice when making my new purchase. If you've had wrist and hand surgery's or arthritis this vacuum makes it very painful to take care of your floors.

Used once and the belt broke. I borrowed a vacuum from a neighbor for awhile and finally got around to putting on a new belt. After repair, I used it on two rooms then smelled burning plastic and the brush roll stopped moving. I thought it was another broken belt, but the brush roll had actually melted into the housing. Will not buy another Bissell product.

Absolutely awful! There is no long extension tool so if ur trying to get under places like ur bed, the vacuum will always fall over. You also have to always bend over or down . Do not buy this if you have pets or don't like bending over.
