My husband uses this mostly however with every time he vacuums with an empty canister the hair clogs up in the rollers from our lab/pointer mix dog. Just very disappointed and of course we bought it in November and it started acting this way in March, too late to return so stuck with it now.

First right out of the box you can tell it's not made to last long. Flimsy plastic feel. I will say the first few times I used it I Loved it! But after months of use it's now Horrible! I've had to take it apart Numerous times to clean out the hair and debris embedded in the hose! It Keeps getting stuck and won't even suck up anything off my carpet! Very disappointed

Extremely disappointed. Used twice and the belt broke. Bought as a bday gift to myself April 27th and already broken.

Turn nob for attachment stopped turning. It clogged very fast. Yes, I vacuumed before using the carpet cleaner. Stopped spraying and sucking. Took it apart and all seems well. Still nothing. Would never buy another one from Bissell. Only 2 years old. Purchased because we adopted a puppy. Worked great for a while. Then nothing but noise. I am purchasing another carpet cleaner and am willing to pay for a quality unit but not from Bissell.

i purchased this vacuum with reading both pro and con reviews. the con review was the belts breaking constantly. i went for it anyway. i tested out the vacuum for 5 min once receiving and was amazed on what was coming from my carpets. today i went to use it again to actually use it , and it was a terrible burning smell , smoke coming form the hose and the brush not spinning. took the brush cover off to find the belt had already snapped in half.

I am disappointed with this product. I purchased it when I moved into a new house in October, because it was advertised as good for people with pets. Within six weeks of use, I had to replace the belt. Every time I use it now, I have to take the faceplate off to removed clogged dog hair from around the belt. Today, the belt broke again. It was even smoking. This is not the kind of performance I expect from a vacuum cleaner. My previous vacuum (not a Bissell) was much better on dog hair.

Bought this vacuum in October of 2020. It is supposed to be for pets. 1 dog here and the belt snapped in just 6 months? I looked to find a replacement but I could only find ones I have to pay for.

I had mine for 3 weeks and it died. It was working well beforehand . Never experienced this with any vacuum cleaner ever!

This worked well until it broke and smoke shot out of it and now it doesn't work. Thought it would be able to handle the hair of just one dog but I was wrong. Will only work for a couple months then you will need to fix it or buy a new one. Customer service was not helpful.

This worked great until it didn't. One day smoke shot out of it and it didn't have any suction. Thought it would be able to handle the hair of one dog but it couldn't. Turns out the belt snapped which seems to be a common problem. Customer service was not helpful at all. I've never had a belt snap like that with any other vacuum.
