This vacuum is a great price but it doesn’t work well! The brush does not spin which is a huge hindrance is your have carpet. It also doesn’t pick up much of anything. I’ve tried to make it work but I’m done with it. Time to dump money on a different vacuum.

I use this daily for common use, rooms that are carpeted, sometimes furniture. The cord for this is insulated with the cheapest, worthless material I have ever seen on a cord. It's so bad that no matter what you do it gets tangled up. Most cords after awhile loosen up and it becomes easier to wrap as time goes on, NOT this one. So if Bissell is choosing too compromise quality I'm moving on to another brand. This may seem like nitpicking but if you buy one you'll soon see what I mean. Do not buy this it's made out cheap parts.

I have only had this vacuum two months and I really liked it but as of today it started not having any suction whatsoever not picking up anything at all leaving the canister empty. Also, I might add it never was that great at picking up small particles like cat litter.

This vacuum is very easy to maneuver, but it generates so much static, I have to clean the outside of the vacuum every time I use it. After only about 5 weeks of use, I discovered the belt snapped because dog hair had slowly been collecting between the roller brush and the belt. Eventually. 85 built up so much it kept the brush from spinning. It was only visible after taking the vacuum apart, and I never try to vacuum over large amounts of hair all at once. I’m hesitant to replace the belt, for fear it will just happen again. I also find it is not great on carpet with a higher pile. One setting is too low and doesn’t spin, the next is too high and nothing is sucked up.

I typically love Bissell products however this one did not last long at all. I purchased as a Christmas gift for my daughter and less than 2 months later it doesn't work. We have cleaned out all the filters and it still continues to blow dust and debris out instead of sucking it in.

Constantly gets clogged, I've had the vacuum for less than 6 months and have already to replace the belts twice. Website and vacuum d tell me to buy two different belt styles so that's frustrating. We've had to take the vacuum apart multiple times because hair is constantly getting stuck around the belt. The hose is useless if you want to clean up high, because you have to lift the entire vacuum and that's obnoxious. The pet eraser tool is frustrating to use. Overall, I wish I could return this.

Brand new out of the box this vacuum struggles to keep the brush roller turning unless you use the highest settings to just barely keep contact with the top of the carpet

The hose broke easily and so did the little pet hair attachment. I'm constantly un screwing it to unplug it from dog hair. Also the belts break extremely easily. I would definitely not purchase this vacuum again and I'm hesitant about ordering another bissel vacuum.

Great in theory, horrible in execution. Too heavy and swivel is hard to control. I should have done more homework.
