I continue to be impressed with the TP-Link lineup. These (and the cameras I purchased a while back) were ridiculously easy to set up using the app and then add to Apple’s Home app as accessories. If you’re into using Siri for home automation (as I have for quite some time), you’ll like these.

I love love love TP-Link products and these TP-Link Tapo Smart Plug Mini 15A are awesome. I use mine with lamps and my Christmas lights and it's so nice to be able to easily set up a schedule to turn lights on and off. Pairing is easy and getting them added to the app is just super nice. I will always recommend this brand and plug to anyone looking for a way to smarten up their home.
My review
It works as it should. No cons.

TP-Link delivers. I run a little 3D print shop. When I'm away at my day job I needed a way to turn printers on or off. Particularly when a print goes bad. These do the trick nicely. They've already paid for themselves many times over by being able to shut down a printer when the spaghetti monster pays an unwanted visit. The app made it easy to get them connected to the wifi, and if you want to connect it to Google Home with your other devices, you can. Which is nice because I have a half dozen brands of other smart things around the house.

Added to 4 rooms, laundry room included in the basement. Work well with android phone.Automatic setting time on and off or when needed randomly.

I bought this smart plug to replace another I'd purchase that did not offer the features I wanted. I'm using this on a hot water recirculating pump and wanted to be able to set an off timer after I'd turned it on. The app offers the features I needed and connecting the plug to my network was easy.

The 3-plug set is very simple to setup in the Tapo app. Tapo allows for useful on/off schedules that include dawn/dusk start or end times, as well as random durations. The units can't currently be seen by the TP-Link Deco app (if you have Deco mesh). To fold a smart device into the Deco app, the device needs to be TP-Link's other brand, Kasa. I was fine with using Deco to manage the mesh, and Tapo to manage the smart plugs. But it's important to know that little detail.

I have lived in a 2 story home for a couple of years and it sucks when I hop in the shower in the morning and start doing my routine… and forget to turn on my espresso machine since it takes 15-20 min to be warm enough for steam. It’s the worst thing to forget to do and yet I forget all the time. It was somehow harder to forget in a 1 story home for some reason. Anyway, I didn’t want to get a new machine with extra features (such as automatic timers) since I love mine. The only thing it was missing was a way to automatically turn on.I stumbled across these outlets as a potentially solution and they are absolutely perfect! I have it set on a schedule and I never have to worry about forgetting to turn it on. I can turn it on from upstairs and I can also mark when I’ll be away so it shuts off the programmed schedule.

Easy to set up, easy to install, easy to integrate with apple HomeKit, and al intuitive to understand and feel confident as you perform all the actions mentioned above.
