I leave my home for a few months, and my HVAC system tends to breakdown. So this is just what I needed so I can keep track of the temperature in the home. The only problem was there was little in instructions and what did come with the thermostat was not in English. I just got onto the internet and copied and pasted in a WORD document all the installation instructions and how to work the thermostat instructions. The site also had some helpful videos.

I bought this Nest Thermostat USED for half the price of the new ones. I have installed and used 2 other new Nest thermostats and this was essentially identical.

I love my nest thermostat! I had zero clue what I was doing but it was actually ridiculously easy to install myself. Only took a bit to figure out which wires were which since this is an old house & nothing was labeled (which thanks for the lil stickers bc now they are lol). The step by step on the app is also great to make sure I was connected up properly as well.Mine isn’t connected to an actual power source due to this house being older but I installed it early November of 2021 & I’ve replaced the batteries twice & it gives you ample warning so no big deal there & unlike other reviews I’ve never gotten an error message or run into issues due to it just running on battery power.I appreciate the look of it too it blends into the wall so well & love that it only turns on when you’re walking past it. The scroll/tap side is user friendly enough I think although I’ll admit I rarely ever actually touch it because I simply don’t need to. Alexa can adjust the temp for me & from my bed or if I’m out of the house I use the app. I also have it set on schedules so most of the time I really don’t need to do anything.Overall I love it & I’ll never go back to a normal thermostat ever again :)

Very cool so far, haven’t had any issues. Works as stated. I really like being able to use the app to change it before I get home or while in bed.. ha ha
